We're leaving on the 16th for my nephew's 4th birthday trip :cloud9: and will be on the deluxe dining plan. We have the following ADRs:

Wednesday:
Captain Cooks or room service for dinner (our flight lands at 9:00pm!)

Thursday:
breakfast: room service or Captain Cook's
lunch: CRT
dinner: O'hana

Friday:
breakfast: Kona
lunch: Garden Grill
dinner: Chef Mickey's

Saturday:
breakfast: 1900 Park Fare (Supercalifragilistic Breakfast)
lunch: Yak & Yeti
dinner: 1900 Park Fare (Cinderella's Gala Feast)

Sunday:
breakfast: O'hana (Lilo 7 Stitch)
lunch: Crystal Palace
dinner: Plaza Restaurant

I know we're leaving in less than 2 weeks and we may not be able to make any changes. Does anyone have any suggestions about our ADR? Is there a hidden gem at WDW that we're missing? Should we add something? Is something on our list not worth going to?

Thanks a bunch!!!!

We celebrated a 6th bday during our trip and Coral Reef was a big hit for all of us. The food, aquarium life and the underwater ambience were great. We had lunch therr during a rain storm; talk about timing. We never knew it was raining until we saw diners wet and waiting in the lobby.

Whatever you do DO NOT cancel Chef Mickey's. My nephew loves it and I doubt we'll ever get to go to Disney and skip it!

I think grabbing a bite at Captain Cook's on your arrival night is really smart. I would probably grab a couple of breakfast items too and take them to the room for the moring. Given your planned CRT lunch and late meal I'd eat light for breakfast. I've also heard Capt Cook's can be crowded in the morning so it may save you some time and frustration after such a late night trip.

Great idea! I will pick up something on Wednesday night for Thursday morning's breakfast. I don't want to rely on room service to be really fast. Plus, I want to make sure we're able to get to the MK for the morning EMH without being delayed having a huge breakfast. What's the selection like at Captain Cook's?

I think it'll be fine for things like fruit/fruit bowls, pastries, cereal and beverages. We didn't stay at the Poly, but walked through one night and bought boxes of donuts for the room. Apparently you can't use snack credits to buy those anymore, but I'm sure there are fresh bakery items you can get there.

Thanks! I definitely don't want to spend too much time on breakfast our first full day at WDW! And CRT is a big lunch, so there's no need to have a filling breakfast.

Our favourite place to eat is whispering canyon. we like the all you can eat skillet and how entertaining it is. If you have a shy child they may not enjoy it because they get them to participate in games...

I've been reading a lot about Whispering Canyon Cafe. It seems like a popular restaurant. If we don't get to it this month, it's a must do for August!
