We are going for our first trip this summer and will most likely be our only trip.

We have booked these for our table service meals - dining plan but I am clueless on what to do/eat for quick service and snacks. What are must haves?

‎18 Cape May Café – 5:30pm
19 Cinderella’s Royal Table – 4:25pm (2 credits, gratuity is included)
21 Akershus – 5pm
22 Tusker House – 11:30am
23 Garden Grill – 5:25pm
24 Chef Mickey’s – 10:20am
24 1900 Park Fare – 4:55pm

At MK i'd recommend Columbia Harbor House. Especially if you like seafood. Also for snacks, i'd go to Main Street bakery and of course get a Dole Whip :)

DHS doesn't have anything fabulous as far as CS, but they have fabulous cupcakes at Starring Rolls.

AK has OK cs meals, I'd recomend Flame Tree, but a ton of people like the Yak and Yeti CS. They also have a great Frozen Lemonade place. I forget what it's called.

Not sure about Epcot :(

Hello Tammy and Welcome to the DIS !:goodvibes

We've done Dinner at Cape May about 4x now (staying at BC)... It's good... wouldn't call it a "destination" restaurant BUT we have not been there since they added snow crab legs... so now it may be. LOL I think EVERYONE who visits WDW should eat at CRT at least once. It is a Family tradition for us and we eat there pretty much every visit... You will enjoy that !
Okay now to answer your question.
CS:
My FAVORITE CS location is at MK: Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe in Tomorrowland. CR has a HUGE Selection.... Hubs and I enjoyed the Ribs & Chicken with Mashed potatoes and green beans with Cake ! Kids got other stuff... hamburgers, etc. at MK you need to try the DOLE WHIP snack in Adventureland (Near POTC)

Epcot: Sunshine Season in "The Land" has the best selection. If that doesn't work... "USA" at the top of Futureworld is good as well. For your snack I would choose something at a country you are interested in.....

DHS: My favorite CS (QS) is an outdoor area between ToT and RnR called "Sunset Ranch Market" . There are many different kiosks with selections. My fave is Catalina Eddie's... has a Hot Italian Sub that is Wonderful ! Not sure about a snack for DHS..... Starring Rolls is very popular...

AK: Not much experience with cs/qs here but I LOVED Yak & Yeti TS... so would recommend Y&Y CS and also The Flame Tree BBQ.

Snacks can also be drinks in the parks... or "hungry" and not yet time for TS... yet we usually have *leftover* snacks when we are ready to check out...

No problem.... shop your resort's market place area... and purchase Mickey Cookies, pretzels etc.... bring them home for your friends for souveniers! OR purchase food for the ride home...

Have a magical Trip and ,again.....welcome to The DIs !

Mary

at EPCOT we love getting fish and chips in England, stopping by France's bakery for snacks, a pretzel in Germany, and kaki gori or tuna sensation as a snack in Japan.

at AK we like flame tree to eat, the fries at yak and yeti for a snack

Wolfgang Puck express at DTD Marketplace is a must for a QS credit, by far our favorite QS. Only downside is its at DTD so only worth it if you plan on goin to DTD in the first place. Earl of Sandwich is a good second option.

at MK we like cosmic rays and columbia harbor house.

HS, we don't really have a favorite QS and try to just head to EPCOT or the boardwalk area.

In MK we love the Columbia Harbour House - their tuna sandwich is great. If you are in the mood for hamburgers Pecos Bill is good. Cosmic Rays Starlight Cafe has a large selection, but it is in separate "bays". That can be difficult to manage if you have little ones.
In AK we enjoy the Flame Tree Barbeque. It has a lovely outside seating area near the water.
In DHS nothing is great but Backlot Express is okay.
In Epcot we love the QS at the various countries of World Showcase. Our favorites are:
La Cantina de Angel in Mexico, Sommerfest in Germany, Katsura Grill in Japan, Tangerine Cafe in MOrrocco, French Bakery, and Harry Ramsdens Fish & Chips in the UK. I would never waste a QS credit on plain old burgers in Epcot.
For snacks the popcorn in the parks is great. Also a Mickey Ice Cream Bar is a must. Drinks are also Snack credits, or you can bring your own

Have a Great Trip.

At DTD, Wolfgang Puck Express at DTD is a definite must do for us. The food is good and it has an atmosphere that is just a bit nicer than the usual QS. While we are still at DTD, I will say Earl of Sandwich was also very good. As far as snacks there...I don't think we have gotten any.

At MK we really like Columbia Harbor House for the tuna sandwich or the fried shrimp. For snacks, number one is a Pineapple Float! Yum! Especially on a hot day. We have also gotten cinnamon rolls in the morning for b'fast which I think counted as a snack. Also love their popcorn and the kids like the Mickey ice creams. You used to be able to get a big freshlyade ice cream sandwich on these huge chocolate chip cookies. Holy moly. For some reason I think I read they are not a snack credit any more tho.

At AK, we have only ever tried Yak n Yeti CS and really liked their Honey Chicken. It was a large portion. Definitely enough to share. My DH liked a jalepeno cheese pretzel he had at AK.

At Epcot there is a huge variety of CS and snacks. Love the fish n chips in England, decent sushi in Japan, bratwurst in Germany. And for snacks the Karamel Kuche in Germany is great. Fresh caramel popcorn and Delish choc and caramel covered strawberries.

DHS is pretty limited. Studio Catering was not too bad. They do have good snacks there tho. Cupcakes from Starring Rolls. And carrot cake cookie from the Writers Stop. :)
