ADRs Book tomorrow!!!!

Same thing here, I tried to book online and nothing...called CM and they said to try back at 9am ET....UGH..eventually I will have to go to work. I guess I will be making dining reservations during my presentation this morning! EEK!

Hopefully everything will be back up before my afternoon meetings at work start:rolleyes1. As many times as I've done this, I've NEVER had this issue. Of course, this is the first time we've been during the actual week of Thanksgiving.

Hopefully your work is "Disney friendly" so they will understand!

We always go the week of Thanksgiving. Never has free dining been available for those checking in the Sunday of Thanksgiving week that must be part of the problem, a much higher call volume. I've had issues in the past, but mostly just with the Friday in Epcot where those places that will offer candlelight processional packages don't get released until a later date. This is the first time I can't book anything

I've been to Disney a lot, but I've never been over Thanksgiving...I keep hearing different things about the crowds. Just curious what you think?

Well, each year it gets more crowded. This year will probably be worse with free dining available. Here's the thing, last year we went the first week of December instead, which traditionally is the slowest week of the year, but I found it to be just as crowded if not more than Thanksgiving week.

Plan to wait in lines. Parades, etc. will be packed so get your spot early. Dining reservations are a must, there won't be any walk-in availability. The way I look at it, the parks are always crowded anymore. Unless you go during an undesirable weather season, you'll have crowds. Having it in your head that there will be crowds, using a good planning strategy, and just not letting things get to you is the best advice I can give.

I really hope they greatly limited the free dining Thanksgiving week. It's already a crazy busy time to go. I heard the Free dining packages booked up within minutes. Unfortunately our favorite resort, POFQ, isn't usually included in the Free dining. I checked to see if we could upgrade to a deluxe resort..but by then all the Free Dining packages were gone.

Anyone have any luck yet? I'm about to drive to work and I guess I'll try calling while I'm driving since it's such a long wait and then try again when I get to my meeting!

Nope just got through on phone, system still down, CM didn't know when it would be working.

Just got through by phone and like was stated earlier, they are making "magical enhancements" and have no idea when the system will be up and running again.

I just booked Animal Kingdom lodge, and there are other resorts available for Nov. 20-27, so apparently they aren't all taken yet. I'm just hoping that the system gets fixed soon so,we can make our reservstions!

Is Contemporary included in Free dining? We booked a couple of months ago, I think anyway, and they didn't have any dining plan specials. We typically do Deluxe plan, it's a ton of food, but it's better for us than the one below it. I wish they had a middle ground as last year we ended up bringing close to 30 mickey themed rice crispy treats home for friends.

We use to always go the first week of December too.

I believe it is. We are doing deluxe dining for the first time this year. I have a feeling we will come back with 30 rice krispy treats too.

As for the Deluxe Dining, we like having a nice breakfast and dinner. It's the lunch that is actually harder as I'd be happy with just a small lunch, but they don't really have a plan for that. One nice thing is we'll use 2 of our DP pts for a nicer dinner one night as well so that's good.

but those snacks...lots of rice bring home items LOL
