How long will this last? Apparently it starts in Jan but will then end, when will that be? Will it be 90 days for a trip in April '09?

Thanks!

No one knows. It will probably be 90 days for the foreseeable future.I don't see them changing it from 180 to 90 and back to 180 days in less than 4 months time...Unless there are major issues and even then no one can answer that for sure.

I saw a post the other day that quoted either allears or another unofficial Disney site that said something like "Disney expects to return to the 180 day window in or by fall 2009" - something like that, once their new reservation system is up and running, I think.

I read also that somewhere. I just did some research, it said the same thing everywhere.

Thanks for the help!

I'm pretty happy about this. As I just said in another thread, we may travel with DH's family, with there being 8+ people, and I don't think we'd even have it booked until December or January. Since we're not big planners, I think it really makes the whole process a heck of a lot easier.

I read somewhere they will not return to the full 180 until Fall of 2009. (Though they may gradually increase to 180..90, 120, 150 etc..)

I read that too, but my buddy in disney dining said they aren't sure of that yet either.I think in addition to upgrading their system they are trying this out to see how effective it is.
