Adr?

I am such a newbie, thanks. Never been to Disney & are going in April with our two small children.

Do most of you map out all of your days well in advance and make all the meal reservations? If so, how far in advance do they allow this?

Thanks for your help!

April should be pretty crowded so if I were you I'd definitely make ADRs for places I definitely want to eat at, such as character dinners. You can make or change these reservations right up until you eat there.

Disney now posts it park schedules six months in advance. I suggest you start making your dining reservations right away.
The menus for all WDW restaurants are on allearsnet.com.....dining....menus.

We build our plan based on what parks we will be in for the day and then make ADR's. That is my plan for this weekend.

Have fun.

WEalso look at the parks early magic hours and make a general plan as to where we want to be, etc. but build in time we can be spontaneous. We make ADR's for all table service meals ahead of time so we know we have a place to eat, and if we change our minds, we can call and cancel. We just got ADR's for March trip, and also just finished calling for our JULY trip. This far in advance I got every rest. we wanted and almost the exact time we wanted.
It's been worth it to us for the past two years (trips) to know that we had a sit down meal planned for each day and we've never waited longer than 5 - 10 minutes for any ADR at those places for spring trips.
Have a great time!
