ADR System Upgrade - History

I'm the phone now for 3/23 ressie and he is getting the manager to see why the window isn't opening for Akershus. He said it is supposed to be open and they WILL get me my reservation made. I shall see. I'm on hold right now.

Oh do update as soon as they tell you something, i'm needing that for 3/23 too... i've called 2 times since booking the BBB so i wanted to wait till maybe bed time... ???

CM told me that the new 90 day window was supposed to start tomorrow and that would be the new dining window....no more 180 days.

oh interesting! So this isn't just a temporary thing until the new system gets going.

That means I'll be able to book my ADR's in a little over a week.

90 days always worked before but honestly, I'm just glad that WDW have decided to do something whilst their trying to implement their new ADR system.

I just called today and the CM send I could not make res for any date later than March 22. My window is now down to 88 and I was very confused. Since I did not have my plans in front of me I did not pressure her but I did tell her that I thought I could make plans now because I was 88 days out. I will call again tomorrow with all my plans but am I missing something? Shouldn't I be able to make them now. My vacation plans are for March 19 through April 1st. Any help would be appreciated.

90 days from what i was told this morning. since i wanted 3/23 i was able to get it but not anything past that.

I tried akershus to and they said it isn't uploaded yet. They told me they have to add the restaurants one by one and that one hadn't been added yet. Let me know if you get it!

I couldn't get Akershus. He said he spoke to his manager and they were loading that restaurant as we were speaking.

I booked Tusker House, Ohana's, BBB and a pirate cruise. At the end of our 20 minute conversation he checked Akershus again and it still wasn't loaded. He said to call back tonight or tomorrow morning.

That's the last ressie I need so I will call tonight and then tomorrow.

I arrive 3/21 and was able to make for my whole week stay.

The following was posted by a moderator (Cheshire Figment) on a thread on the Theme Park Board:



"I have just checked the official Disney Intranet, The Hub. This is, effective today, official WDW Policy.

Effective today all reservations for dining, tours and recreation will be made up to 90 days out.

La Nouba and Grand Gatherings may be made 180 days out.

Room reservations may be made 500 days out.

For people staying at a Disney owned and operated resort there is a 90+10 rule in effect, so 90 days from arrival date ytou may make your rerservations for up to ten days at one time.

All current reservations which are more than 90 days from today will still remain valid, but will not be able to be modified until within the 90 (+10) window."

You're welcome. If true, I'm kind of unhappy about this though. I know some like the 90 day window much better, but I thought 180 days gave us Disney obsessed people a bit of a leg up on everyone else. Now we will be in with the masses.

Hope it's right that my already made CRT ADR will be o.k.!

I just called the main DDR phone number again and still get the same run around! ARRRRRGGGGGG!!!!

If you all that are being successful are calling a diffrent number please shsre it.

Thanks Disneydine for all of your help and updates.....I was able to book my 3/25 Donald Safari Breakfast because of your help, the CM I talked to was surprised that it was opened, she had no idea that other restaurants were opened besides V&A, CM, and CRT. I was also able to get the time I wanted without any worries. Thanks again, now I am off to find out schedules for the rest of my trip......YEAH!!!!!!

Please take a moment to read the first post. A copy of information from the Disney Intranet (the Hub) was shared with some moderators here on the Dis. If your CM can check the "Hub" they will find answers to their booking questions, it may help you guys get your ADR's.

Well, I guess that's, that! At least we know what's up now! I can relax and book my ADR's 2/8/09! Hopefully the May hours will be posted by then!!

I'm actually pleased that it's 90 days (assuming it turns out to be true). I think three months in advance is plenty, but that's just me. I'm now wondering if May park hours won't come out until February

Try 407-939-7707 that is group dining and will get directly to CM not an outside agent that might not have received the memo yet. If they tell you it's not avail ask for guest services. It is avail 90+10.
