Just to clarify, the "plus 10" doesn't allow you to make ADRs 10 days before your 90 days from check in date. Plus 10 means that 90 days from your check-in date you can make ADRs for up to 10 days of your trip.

Hey yeah....that's right!!!! So I wonder why the CM told me I could call on Jan. 16th if I'm arriving on April 26th?!?!? I'm thinking she mis-spoke due to all the excitement!!! :)

I have to call on Jan. 26th, right and can book 10 days into my trip? (Yes, staying on property)

Just give them the how many people, day, place and time you want and then they tell you if it's available. If it's not, they'll give you the next possible time available....it's really very easy! Just have all your info in front of you, it makes it easier, especially if you have a lot of ADR's to make!

When I call to make my ressies, what information do I give them? (This is my first trip to Disney) Do I just tell them where we want to eat and a time frame of when I want to eat and go from there or do they tell me what times are available and I choose? Also, we want to eat at TRex but I think I read that we can't make reservations there, is that true?

*The DIS has been such a help in my trip planning so thanks to everyone!!:worship:*

You got it right-where, for how many people, and approximate time frame. They will tell you what's available within your time frame. When you call, have your first & 2nd choices ready for each time slot just in case. They will want a phone number to attach to the reservations...if you're staying on site they'll want that info if you're booking the +10.

TRex is not taking reservations last I read about a week ago.

well Akershus is still not coming up in the system for 3/23... :( i need that res. we have never been able to book a princess b'fast i NEED this one! LOL

CRAP my 90 days is 1/6--the day I go back to freakin' work after my vacation! I hope and pray April opens up before then as it would be SOOOOOO much easier to do this at home than to try and call from school on my cell and hope I get through before school starts!

Hello again,

Yes, it is true as many are reporting... as of today reservations can be made 90 days out (with the +10 rule applicable for all Disney resort guests). Hopefully this is good new for many of you who are waiting.
;)

DisneyDine, I don't get it. I just called again and am still being told not till mid Jan. I need res for March 23rd Ohana and 25th Chrystal Palace for lunch.

What gives? :upsidedow

I just called... my CM told me that they still can only book ressies through 3/22. I was trying to call for 3/23? Should I try to get another CM?:confused3

This could be trouble for me since I will be out of the country from Dec 25 to Jan 1!!! OH NO!!!! I would hate to miss the window! :( :( :(

We'll be at WDW from April 20-27...Will I be SOL for places like Le Cellier???? We're not picky about what time we eat, but was really hoping to get our first choices for dining locations...

Yep i'd keep calling, ask them to try and make them, tell them you called earlier and were told to call back this afternoon to get thoes booked, that the system would be opened up... call call call!!!

I would call back and try to get a different CM and if they still say no then ask for a Supervisor. It seems that not everyone is informed yet.

Very interesting!! My 90 day mark will be Jan. 31 (for May 1). Hope the May hours are up soon so I can get it all worked out.

I'm confused though - I thought no CM's had been trained on the new system. And with the absolute "end" date of 6/19...is this still the old system? Not complaining, I'm glad that another day will open up each day, to alleviate the mass calling, I'm just confused.

I wonder *if* the window will ever (or at least in the next several months) open back up to 180 days? Or is this a way for Disney to better plan with the current state of the economy - not have to post/determine park hours so far in advance? Makes sense, I guess. As a super-planner, I liked 180 days, b/c it gave planners like me an "edge" I guess. But 90 is fine, too. What's the deal with CM, CRT, V&A though? Will they stay 180 days? Why the 6/19 cut-off?

I called today as I needed to change a CM res I have for 5/17. I asked about the others and they said from now on the window will be 90 days and to call back on 5/15.

Well, thanks! ;) That helps! I will relax a bit about booking my May 16th trip. I think I can book Feb. 15th then!

I'm the phone now for 3/23 ressie and he is getting the manager to see why the window isn't opening for Akershus. He said it is supposed to be open and they WILL get me my reservation made. I shall see. I'm on hold right now.

I tried akershus to and they said it isn't uploaded yet. They told me they have to add the restaurants one by one and that one hadn't been added yet. Let me know if you get it!

My 90 day window isn't until January 10th, but I needed to make a change to my Chef Mickey's reservation that I made months ago. They will not let me do it. Two different CM's told me that they can only make reservations for 90 days from today for all resturants - from today when they made the change, nothing can be reserved outside of the 90 days...no Chef Mickey's, no Cinderella's Royal Table, or V&A's.

I also made a change to my grand gathering today, and that CM told me that the new 90 day window was supposed to start tomorrow and that would be the new dining window....no more 180 days. She said that too many people would end up making changes or cancelations at the last minute and it was extremely difficult for Disney to deal with. They felt going to 90 days would make it easier with people not canceling at the last minute. I guess they felt people really knew if they were going to be on vacation in 3 months versus hoping they would be on vacation in 6 months.
