this has to be the most annoying thing ever. can't wait till it's over with.

I couldn't agree more. Plus I love the planning and am feeling a little ripped off. ;)

I just sent an email to Disney asking about May hours, ADR system and Pirate and Princess Party. Will copy and paste the answer here when I receive one.

:thanks:

Does this new update mean we may be able to make our ADRs online on Dec 1? :upsidedow

I have a question about the Hoop De Doo for all of you. Some of my party is booked with rooms and dining plans, and others are not. Reason being, some are just moving into rooms already booked so there's not an urgent rush to add them to a reservation. With the ADR date rumored to be in a week, I am worried that I won't be able to book the Hoop De Doo without using a credit card. Does anyone know about this? Will I be able to book for 18 if only 14 have names on rooms? Do I have to get them to add themselves to rooms? I know that the rest of the ADR's will be fine, because I already have some, but because you buy the tickets in advance for HDD I worry.

Whether on not they're listed on rooms at this point won't make any difference, because you don't have to have room reservations to book ADR's. Anyone can make ADR's whether they're staying at a Disney resort or not.

But I think you do have to use a credit card to book on HDDR, whether or not you have room reservations. I believe that is one of the few places that requires a credit card guarantee

Is this true even if I am on the DDP?

Is this true even if I am on the DDP?

we had to give credit card for reservations at Fantasmic Dinner package, Cinderella's Royal Table & the Cali Grille this year while on the DDP (May 2008 & September 2008.) Both times the CM knew we were on the DDP and made a point of explaining the credit card would be charged for no-shows at those places. My understanding is that it is that way with the dinner shows also.

Thanks, that is a big help. I don't mind using my credit card for a no-show charge because if these people decide not to go, I'll call and cancel beforehand so no problems with that.

Thanks again!

I believe you have to cancel 48 hours before or you will be charged some time of fee.

Hi Guys-- I checked the Disney Website this morning for the May calendar, and there is no calendar up at all. :confused3 Could this be a good sign?? maybe they're changing it as we speak. . . :cool1: --Katie

Does anyone know...will I be able to make ressies for the Behind the Scenes Train Tour (MK) on December 1st for March 23rd?

Thanks! :)

Question about Tea at the Grand Floridian...
Does anyone know if this books like a normal ADR or can I book it now?
(I'm well within my 180 day window... where are those May hours???)

Thank you in advance!

Sorry for neglecting you all, I have been on vacation.

I see there has been an update from the Mom's Panel I cannot confirm or deny what was posted there. I'm sure we as dining CM's are not the first to know anything... So that information could prove to be true, I just don't know. I can tell you what I know as of now... we just got a new update this afternoon. Our training is still scheduled to begin in December. We have now received word that the new system will launch in mid to late January 2009.

There is no word on extending the booking window at this point. We are still only able to book through March 22, 2009 except for Chef Mickey, Cinderella’s Royal Table and Victoria & Albert’s.

I know that is not what most of you want to hear. I could speculate and say they may move the booking window forward another month into April but there has been no official word on that. I will let you know as soon as I do. That's all I have for now.

Thanks Disney Dine for letting us know what you know. I almost cried when I read the mid-to-late January news though -- I just want to make my ADRs for June so that I don't have to stress about that anymore. :sad1:

Thanks for the update Disney Dine. :thumbsup2

Sorry, but none of the Grand Floridian dining options can be booked past the March 22 cut-off point at present. :guilty:

Thanks Tink, too! That is what I was figuring but I wanted to make sure it wasn't somehow separate. I appreciate your help! :-)

You're welcome. I feel so bad for those of you waiting, I know how frustrating it must be. I want it all over too. I'm crossing my fingers with all of you that this wraps up soon.

Shoooooooooooot.

Our ADR window is SUPPOSED to open February 3rd. It's getting really close to that for the "expected back up" date.

This is really worrying me. C'mon, Disney! Get it together! This is my one and only dream honeymoon in a deluxe with DxDDP, and ADRs may still be messed up!

It is getting a little frustrating for us as well. We really want to do all our ADR's for May (7) and be done with it. This is the 1st time we want to make more than one ADR because we are celebrating our 12 yr anniversary.

Anyway, I hope it's resolved soon. We have only been able to book Chef Mickey's so far, so we have 6 to go. I must say that this was poorly thought out by the folks at Disney. It's fine to implement changes, but they should not impact your customers and what they expect.

If it opens up Mid Jan, it will be crazy to say the least! :scared:
