I just made all my ressies for 3/23-3/27!!!!! And I got everything exactly how I wanted it!

Not sure if it matters, but I called to change my resort and then she transfered me to dining and that CM was happy to check and see if she was able to make my ressies!

wondering if you got the same CM as PP who got reservations for March?
Anyone else getting any? (reservations, that is:rotfl: )

rumrunnergirl - why aren't you having your WD book your reception lunch? Just wondering...

I guess because I am not booking an entire room at a restaurant. I "just" need to book a lunch for up to 20 people, LOL. I did mention it to her to see if she could help, but guess not.

No flaming here. Understand, I am not saying call and give the CM's a hard time. I know it's not their fault.
However, It's not ours either. Sometimes the only way to get the point across to managers is for them to see the error of their ways, so to speak. If the phone lines get flooded with people trying to make ressies, complaints and so forth, the point will be made. Will it always work that way, no. I understand that.
My wife worked as a Customer Satisfaction Specialist for Hertz car rental for several years. So I know all about trying to please and deal with customers' complaints.
And as a side note....Hertz in this example...changed rental/computer systems several times through the recent years, and never took the system "off line" to do it. There is no excuse for that. It's just plain bad business. Especially for a major company like Disney.
One of my biggest gripes about all of this is that when everyone knows of a pre-set date to call and get ADRs, it's fair for everyone. As it is now, it won't be. It will come down to whoever finds out the reservation system has opened back up first. Again, terrible business.

Lisa a great CM who was very nice and didn't seem to mind me calling and bugging her said, no ress. after 3/22 except for thoes 3 .... call back late Jan... :*(

This is what I was just told by Group Dining (since I have to book 2 Group Dining meals, I thought I'd try them for a change)....

ahem..."just about 5 seconds ago" I was told, the window was opened to 90 days!!!!!!! (90 +10 for those staying on property).....

So, if you're in that time frame...I'd say go ahead and try now...

For all others, figure out your 90 day period...mine is Jan. 16th, but it means that there should be less people calling now!!!!

I understand if MODS want to wait for confirmation from Disneydine, but that is what I was just told, like 2 minutes ago!

I'm happy you got what you wanted but I have to say that it bums me out that some CMs are making ADRs past 3/22 but most are not. A few months ago there were reports of CMs letting guests make ressies before their 180 days (not talking about 180+10, but actually before 180 days from their check-in). It's just not fair.

Thanks for not breaking out the rocket launcher in response to my quoting you. I genuinely appreciate that! :goodvibes

You and I agree that Disney taking the system offline is hard to understand. I never realized that some of the dining CMs are at-home agents (can I get that job, please?). I can't imagine the work in keeping people on-site and at-home updated on all the latest information, making sure they have access to both computer systems, don't make reservations even though some dates have been loaded in beyond 3/22, etc. (By the way, that last point seems pretty ridiculous to me - Disney loads dates into the system but tells agents not to make reservations for those dates. Hello? This is why we have a couple of people now having ADRs even though it seems they aren't supposed to). I think there was no reason to take the system down. I agree that's bad business, and Disney - had they asked for and taken my advice ;) - would have just endured the hassle of running two systems at once. I think people on here have come up with great suggestions for how this could have been done. Unfortunately, it is what it is and we have to live with it for a while longer.

Thanks again for being kind. :)

I just called like 8 minutes ago and was told to call back in January ... :confused3

I'm sure the dates will open soon and it's very anoying knowing i'll be gone from DIS for the next two days and if they open up the lines tonight i'll know i'll hopefully get my stuff, but i could see it opening up day after Chirstmas or next monday... they are closed on christmas day right????

so that means today 12/23 they can book 3/23...one more day? Or is the 90 + 10 days applying for resort guest, I wonder?

Does this mean it's now a "rolling" 90 day window...hope so. Thanks for the postings, all (even though I'm now thoroughly confused:confused3 Hopefully people will continue to post how it's working for them!)

I'll update when i get off i'm trying to get Akershus... on 3/23 90 day window only b/c we are not staying on disney... she's got me on hold trying to get the Akershus to open up and having issues as someone eles said too...

that means my 90 day ADR date is Feb 20  maybe theyll have hours out by then :rotfl:

i think this is what "clueless Don" was trying to tell me. he said this past sunday was the last day to make a res. for 6-19 and he could only make something for 6-20 this past monday. he kept saying, i can't go back. He made it sound like i was trying to make an ADR for a date that is already passed, lol.
glad at least some of you are getting what you want.:goodvibes

Ok just talked with Missy through the BBB # she got my 3/23 res for BBB I'm not staying on property so i have to call back tomorrow for my ADR i want for 3/24 so it's been changed to 90 days out +10 for thoes that are on property and from checking in date, so if i was on property and wanted to book 3/23-3/28 i could but since i'm off property then i'm out of luck calling back daily for the next week. Lucky me!!! LOL But some of the resturants arent' showing yet b/c they haven't gotten the 12:00 noon notification that they can book 90 days out so Akershus isn't in there yet she told me to call back this afternoon and tell them that yes i can book it's in the 90 days window that opened up at 12 noon she talked with a supervisor while i was on the phone with her, and other workers around her, it should be working ... call call call if your are with in the 90 day window.

I just made all my ADRs from March 23 - 28. The CM was very very nice. At first she insisted no ADRs could be taken, but was more than willing to check and see if she could do it. She found that the computer would allow her to take them and I was able to get everything I wanted! good luck to everyone!!:goodvibes

I'm sorry, I was not trying to brag that I got mine and others hadn't. I was trying to tell others that it is happening to some so try and try again! I hope you get someone soon that will take your ADR's!!!
