We are going to wdw in May, and I have some questions. I know these have probably been posted before, but whenever I try to do a search I get about 3000 posts and can't figure them out.

1) Is it possible to make ADR this late? We are looking at lunchtime, not dinner.

2) Do you have to be a Contemporary Resort guest to eat at Chef Mickey's?

3) Is there any kind of dining plan we can get? We are not resort guests and not residents of FL.

4) I'm under the assumption that counter service is where you just walk up, order something, then try to find a place to sit and eat. Am I correct? We're thinking of doing this for dinner and ADRs for lunch.

5) What happens if something comes up and we don't make it to our ADR?

You guys are so great!!!

1) Possible...difficult but not impossible
2) You do not have to be a guest of the CR to eat CM's. For that matter, you can eat anywhere in WDW (except some places in DTD)
3) If you are not staying at a Disney resort, you can not get the dining plan
4) you are correct
5) If you can't make your ADR, common courtesy says that we should call and cancel. There are no fees, HOWEVER, certain TS require full payment and those you will be billed for if you no-show

1) Is it possible to make ADR this late? We are looking at lunchtime, not dinner. Yep. Figure out where you're going to be on any given day and make your call to Disney Dining.

2) Do you have to be a Contemporary Resort guest to eat at Chef Mickey's?
Nope
3) Is there any kind of dining plan we can get? We are not resort guests and not residents of FL. Nope. Resort Guests only.

4) I'm under the assumption that counter service is where you just walk up, order something, then try to find a place to sit and eat. Am I correct? Yep We're thinking of doing this for dinner and ADRs for lunch. At this late a date that's a good plan, but you never know what you may luck into...

5) What happens if something comes up and we don't make it to our ADR?
Only a few require credit card guarantees. You simply don't eat there. Likewise, others may miss their meal and you might get the chance to eat there...
You guys are so great!!! :)
