I've made a couple of extra dining reservations and want to go ahead and cancel the ones I don't plan to use so others have the opportunity to snag the reservations!

My family is traveling with a 2.5 year old girl and a 5 month old girl. This trip is mainly focused around the 2.5 year old who lovessss everything Mickey Mouse and Disney! We live in Florida so this certainly will not be her last trip.

Anyway, I have reservations for the The Crystal Palace, Tusker House, and Akershus.

--The Crystal Palace ADRs are at 8:05 AM on the first and second day we are at MK... I am thinking to cancel the first day so we can see the rope drop and do the 8:05 the second day at MK... what would you do?

-We don't have a lot of time scheduled at EPCOT because I just don't think there is that much that the 2 year old would be interested in. We are mainly going for Akershus for dinner (5:25 PM on the first day of our trip), plus hoping to fit in Nemo and Friends and Turtle Talk. Is that enough EPCOT time? Basically we are going to have to do early mornings with the 2 year old, head back to the resort in the afternoon, and head out again in the evening. Planning to use EPCOT as our "filler" park for afternoons but I know it will be the Flower and Garden Festival so we want to see that. (I love EPCOT - I just don't know how much a toddler would?)

-I know this is not dining related but would you just bring your car to the parks with a 2 year old? I'm thinking we won't take Disney busses from the resort just so she can nap in her car seat...

-I have an ADR for Tusker House at 8:10 and one at 9:25. We'll miss the rope drop there completely if we do the 8:10. Worth it?

Thanks in advance. :)

I can't answer the ADR questions, but if you're going to insist on a car seat, you're going to need to drive. Disney busses are like city busses - no belts. You'd also have to fold up any stroller and keep it with you (NOT blocking the back door as some like to do.)

Thanks! I would be ok with the busses but the thought of having a melt down while trying to fold the double stroller to get it on there... ugh.

Was thinking we could drive the car in the morning and leave it there if we bus back to the resort, then bus back to the the park in the afternoon and pick up the car that evening. Would that work ok??

I would think so - people park at one park and take Disney transportation to other parks all the time. You'd still have the stroller issue - they HAVE to be folded on the busses.

I would go with your plan of rope drop 1st morning, CP second. I'm sure DD will be super excited to be in the MK the first morning and walking in the front door right to breakfast may be a let down. Journey into imagination may be fun for DD, too. There's a little area after the ride with some interactive things where DD can spend some time out of the stroller burning off energy. I don't know if F&G still has them, but they used to have some playgrounds and a butterfly area set up that she may enjoy as well. I would go with the 8:10 tusker house. You may make rope drop if you ask for the bill right away. The 9:25 you won't have time really to do anything before the ADR anyway. Another option is to look for a later one of 10:30 or so. Go to rope drop, do a couple things and then eat "brunch". Have a wonderful trip:goodvibes

For EPCOT she might enjoy the boat ride in Mexico and depending on when you are going Frozen might be open in Norway. She might also like some of the shows and the character meets in the countries.

Do you know when Frozen opens?
