After watching "the five worst restaurants at Walt Disney World" today I'm frightened about one of my ADRs. I have a reservation at Yak and Yeti. I've never eaten there before. I also realize the ymmv, but I don't want to use a table credit (yes, I got the DDP) for food I might hate.
Should I just leave my ADR as it is, Dinner on Saturday Sept 10 or should I find another place to eat?
I was thinking of getting the seared Miso Salmon.
All input welcome.

We ate there two weeks ago as part of an 11-day trip. After we got back, everybody agreed that it was the best meal we had.

The thing about opinion pieces like this is that the author's tastes are by definition individual. Personally, the worst meal experience I ever had was at Tusker House, a long-standing favorite of many people.

We are there yesterday and we all LOVED it. Everything was delicious! We all agreed it was our best meal so far. Don't change it. Enjoy.

I think you can take a look at the menu and maybe some other reviews? :) we are going to try it for the first time next trip as well but I have never seen the review you have. I see a lot of positive reviews here

We eat at Yak and Yeti every visit and always like it very much. We also have great servers every time we're there.

Skipper's Canteen got horrible reviews, we loved it. Sanaa got great reviews, we hated it. Keep your ADR and if it turns out to be not so great, it's only one meal and now you'll know.

I realize it was Pete's opinion. Yes, I like chinese food. There's a restaurant nearby that I get burbon chicken at and it's fantastic.

I've always tried restaurants for myself even if they had bad reviews. I wouldn't let any one person's opinion deter you from eating at any particular place. What makes a good meal is subjective, any good restaurant can have a bad day, and it isn't like any Disney restaurant is failing health inspections.

I am planning to give Coral Reef a shot soon and it is often listed in the worst restaurant lists. It might very well be but I will determine that for myself.

We love Yak and Yeti. It's our go-to place in AK every trip. I've never had anything there that wasn't good.

Whaaaat? I love Y&Y. It was the best dinner of our trip last year! I'd give it a try.

My daughter and I had lunch there last year! Best lunch of our trip!! I would try it for yourself! We had a noon reservation and ate upstairs and got a window seat. We got to people watch for an hour! A bonus we had not expected!

We had dinner there last year and it wasn't my favorite but it was definitely good- I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to someone. My brother and sister in law love it.

I just watched the video a few minutes ago and like the OP was shocked at this selection as being one of the worst. And we just booked dinner there for August. DH is getting nervous about our choice there so I'm glad I hopped on the boards here to get a second or third opinion.

More shocked at that than when they ranked Tony's at #4 - totally thought that one would be #1. Also no Hollywood and Vine on that list but I guess this list was for non-Buffet places.

Keep the ADR, however, going in October, we didn't actually need one as they were able to accomodate a walk-up for 2 for lunch quite easily. We very much enjoyed it and cancelled Tusker House to eat there after reading the menu outside on our first AK day.

Haven't eaten there for a couple of years and it was for lunch but we quite liked it. Portions were huge though. I was totally unable to finish it.
