ADR at "the second worst restaurant at WDW"

After watching "the five worst restaurants at Walt Disney World" today I'm frightened about one of my ADRs. I have a reservation at Yak and Yeti. I've never eaten there before. I also realize the ymmv, but I don't want to use a table credit (yes, I got the DDP) for food I might hate.
Should I just leave my ADR as it is, Dinner on Saturday Sept 10 or should I find another place to eat?
I was thinking of getting the seared Miso Salmon.
All input welcome.
what are the other 4?
Y&Y gets great reviews here.

#5 San Angel Inn inside Mexico at EPCOT, #4 Tony's in MK, #3 Paradiso 37 at Disney Springs, #2 Yak & Yetti, #1 Captain's Grille at Yacht

While I agree 100%, I'm surprised Captain's Grille is on the list since it's often listed as a hidden gem on the Dis.

Wow. We enjoy San Angel Inn and Y&Y very much. Haven't done the rest. Everyone has different opinions

Taste is subjective. Y&Y gets good reviews here, and I have recommended it to my DS and DDIL for their DAK day.
SAI was one of my favorite meals last December and I look forward to turning.
Tony's was fine IMO> I had a much worse experience at Le Cellier.
I like Chef Mickey's, but I seem to be the only one on the planet who does.

I think that you should choose a restaurant based on the menu and try for yourself.

My take on the Y&Y review was if you are ordering OOP and choosing one of the less $ entrees like the honey chicken, then it may not be the same taste as your fav Chinese restaurant in your neighbourhood. I love Y&Y and usually eat there with free Fall Dining. I have enjoyed the duck, steak & shrimp and the incredible wonton dessert. The interior theming of the place is not to be missed. Is it the same food quality as eg Sanaa? No. But is it very good, tasty food with theming that rivals & often bests most Disney-owned restaurants? Yes. It's a must do for me on each WDW vacation. I wouldn't give up that ADR. ps also noticed Y&Y ADRs during the early Fall free dining dates are hard to find.

Yak & Yeti is our favorite in-park restaurant. We have never been disappointed yet. The food is so delicious and the menu has some really great choices. Everything from the appetizers to the desserts are excellent. Go and experience it for yourself.

We ate there for the first time in March and we all LOVED it! I would highly recommend it. Try to get a table on the second floor near the windows as it is fun to people watch. Try the Yak Attack too..... enjoy!

I agree with Paradiso 37. We went there because I thought it was advertised as a wine bar. Very poor wine selection and the food was meh.

Oh my gosh...Y&Y is one of my faves and is a must-do lunch for us almost every trip. LOVE it! The 5 of us usually get a few things to share like potstickers, shrimp lo mein and honey chicken but last time we each got our own meals and I tried the Kobe burger. Holy cow, it was THE best burger ever!!!!

And my worst 3 at WDW are: Tony's and Bongos and Marrakesh.

It depends. Do you live where there is really excellent Asian food? Y&Y was inoffensive but profoundly pedestrian. Nothing was bad, but it was all not quite as good as we can get at home.

It was, "not bad." Because we are Landry's members it got us out of the rain and to a table quickly on a day that had gone a little sideways.

We ate lunch at Yak & Yeti when we were there in May and LOVED IT. In fact, I'm considering going to AK on my solo trip in January solely to eat there.

Don't sweat your Y&Y reservation. The food is very good, and the service the last 6 times I've eaten there has been excellent. It's one of my wife's favorite table service restaurants at WDW, right below Narcoossee's and just above San Angel Inn (which I note is #5 on the list).

The list is one person's opinion. I've eaten at every table service restaurant at WDW, many of them multiple times. My own list of the worst table service restaurants would include:
1. Tony's town square (possibly the worst Italian restaurant I've ever eaten at), 2. LeCellier (a "pretend" signature restaurant with horrible service, dungeon-like atmosphere, and so-so food), 3. Bongo's at Disney Springs (food was over cooked, service was poor), 4. Jiko (room is blah generic, cuisine is dumbed down, but the food was good and service was superb), 5. Whispering Canyon Cafe (loud, food quality varied greatly). I'm sure others would disagree with my pick of the worst five. But, again, one man's opinion.

We eat at Yak and Yeti every visit and always like it very much. We also have great servers every time we're there.

I finally had a chance to listen to the actual broadcast and wanted to add an addendum.
He glowingly mentioned Yachtsmen and though everyone raves about it, we did not have a good experience all around....food...server...ambience...and will choose to spend our Disney dollars elsewhere.
How someone rates a restaurant is so subjective and it's nice to have such a wide choice.

I ate there once and it was good. Keep your reservation.

As for Captain's Grille, I've never had a bad meal there once, and they picked it as the #1 worst choice. Don't understand that.

I'm surprised Captain's Grille is on the list since it's often listed as a hidden gem on the Dis.

I agree.

I'm pretty critical of restaurants but I thought Yak and Yeti was fine (just lunch), at least in 2012.
