adopt a soldier

I am a preschool teacher, in our monday weds, friday class there is a little girl who's father has been shipped off to the war and we decided in our cirruculum meeting today that we would have the children make cards to send to him. On the tuesday thursday class there are no soilders that we know of so we were thinking of having the children send cards to an "adopted" one. I know that you are no longer allowed to send mail to "any soilder" so anyone have an idea of how to address a care package?

thanks for the great link! I also got a pm from someone who has a friend that sounds like a great match for our class. I am awaiting his address from her and will bring it to the director next week.
