Why would they only install them at Value resorts? I don't get it....![]()
It is weird...very.

I also see a correlation with parades and busses.![]()
I am guilty of taking a photo if my 2 daughters riding in another pirate ship in Peter Pan! I would never do this now that I realize how rude it is...I was completely mortified when I started to read DIS & realized how it was so upsetting to others. I really don't remember hearing an announcement or seeing a sign. So I was that rude person! What do you need to take a picture of in the ride?? Just wondering as with the currently YouTube ride throughs and other website photos what do you possibly need to take a picture of?
Just wondering?
I noticed that taking photos of the ride absouelty takes me out of the experience I'm sad I had to learn that lesson the hard way.
I've refused to let children in front of me during a parade before, I'll admit it. You snooze, you lose. I put in the time to stake out my spot, I'm not letting your precious snowflake in front of me just because you arrived at the last minute.
I was very rude once in retaliation and I am still, 2 years later, very embarrassed about it.
When the walls were up around the Dwarves Mine Train, I was walking towards the Mermaid ride along the wall. A family of 3 (mom, dad, young daughter) was coming my way so I moved as much as I could to the right, up against the wall. The man, the family member closest to me, pulled up his backpack and pulled it around and slammed his backpack and his shoulder into my left shoulder. When he did, he dropped his camera.
I turned around to go back although he was at fault. He was from somewhere from overseas (Sweden I think). I saw a point and shoot, battery and battery cover on the ground. He said "you broke my camera!" I said, "you broke my shoulder!" He kept asking why I did not stop walking and told me I am supposed to wait for the children. I told him I did not understand what his point is, but slamming his backpack and shoulder into me was unnecessary and I apologized that his camera broke, but my shoulder is in pain. He just kept saying, "What about the children, you are supposed to stop for the children and now my camera is broke. What about the children. Why did you not stop walking for the children". I said, "I don't know what you expect me to do, you dropped it because you slammed into me!!" His wife said, "We came here from (some place I could not understand) and you ruined our vacation." I told him that her that her husband busted my shoulder and might have ruined my vacation. She just kept saying, "you broke it. You broke it. You broke it." so I said again, "I am sorry your camera is broken but you need to be more courteous or just go back to your own country!"
That was so rude of me and I feel horrible for saying that last part to them. I have no issues ever with people visiting or moving here from overseas, but I was so mad because they were blaming me for what was a result of his aggression and the woman kept repeating herself like a broken record.....and they expected me to go buy them another camera. If it was truly my fault I would have replaced his camera or gladly given him my own.
Sadly, 2 years later, my shoulder is still messed up. I went to our orthopedic surgeon/doctor after I returned from that trip and learned that the impact caused damage to my rotator cuff. I would still apologize to that guy for saying what I did to his family; I do not want him thinking Americans do not like foreign visitors.![]()

You were manslammed. I'm sorry you were hurt. http://nymag.com/thecut/2015/01/manslamming-manspreading-microaggressions.html
After reading this article, I made the same test as the author and learned it's too risky. Many men really do not move. I was walking at the Contemporary this June on the far right side of a covered walkway. A nicely dressed, multi generation family were walking toward me. The person closest to my side of the walkway was the older man. He did not move. Not an inch. He didn't slow down, lean towards his wife, nothing. It was pouring rain. I stopped dead in front of him and said, loudly, "would you please allow me to pass." His wife grabbed his arm and pulled him aside.
Interesting article! I've seen it happen lots but I never knew it was an actual 'thing'!You were manslammed. I'm sorry you were hurt. http://nymag.com/thecut/2015/01/manslamming-manspreading-microaggressions.html

I'm sure I'm thought of as the "rude" person every time I go to the other side of the cashier. There are 5-7 people on the left side and maybe one person on the right side, so I go to the right. I can't tell you the number of dirty looks I get. There are two lines, I don't understand why people don't use them.
Because they don't want the aesthetics screwed up at the more expensive resorts. Apparently, this look is tacky....(see photo)
