I used to like well done, then I moved to medium well and now I’m down to medium. I ordered medium last time I got a burger and it came our rare. It was all I could do to chew the bite I took. I will definitely check next time before biting into it.

I suggest Aulani so beautiful. Get a SW credit card and you can fly there cheap in economy.
We are looking at this for next Jan/Feb. We have Hilton Honors points for the first 5 nights at Hilton Hawaiian Village and thought we would go to Aulani for the next 5 nights. We have SW vouchers from our Feb. LV trip that will pay for our flight. We took a bump going and they cancelled our flight coming back so we got vouchers then too. I can’t wait. I never thought it would be possible for us to stay at Aulani. Hoping everything works out. 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Sounds like the stars aligned ... its been way too long since we were last in Hawaii. We were very excited to be considering it for this year, but it just didn't work but will likely happen next year.

One more question…when I like someone’s post, sometimes I want to use the laughing emoji. Most of the time it won’t work And I just end up putting the thumbs up. All of the others will work but rarely will that one work. It used to work for me. What am I doing wrong?? Is there a trick?

Hovering over "like" with your mouse will show the other emotive options to tag the post with.

I’m using an iPad. I don’t have a laptop anymore. I click on the like button and all of the emojis pop up. I can click on any of the other ones and they work. When I click on the laughing one, it just sits waiting on me to choose something else. I can click it over and over but it just sits.

Well thats weird ... wonder why that is?

Yes, I’ve noticed that with my IPad too. It’s touchy with that laughing emoji.

Mine does the same thing with my iPhone. It is very hard to pick anything other than the like. I click the like and it appears on the message click it again and change it. If it opens the first time to change it, I am not able to select the other options. I am sure people get a notification of a like from me and them wonder where it went and why I changed my mind.

Red, pink or brown? How do you like your steak?
Don’t laugh. None of the above.

Black as can be. Butterfly that filet and cook it like shoe leather and then leave it on a bit more until it is charcoaled.

I used to eat it medium but while pregnant the doc said not to. I have never went back. When something comes out with a little pink, I struggle to get it down.

Here’s my funny hospital food story. Until after I broke my leg, I was a vegetarian. In the hospital, the ”chefs” apparently do not know how to cook vegetarian food. I would get plain spaghetti and red sauce for lunch and dinner every day. Only they would TRY to make it look different. Sometimes, the sauce would be in the center of the noodles. Sometimes, in a separate dish on the side. Even the dishes they would serve it on would vary. But it was always the same, just spaghetti and red sauce. It became my running joke with the nurses.

I cannot eat spaghetti now.

I'm in a couple of DVC facebook groups and the ridiculous amount of AP posts have hurt my brain. I unfollowed two of them because instead of searching the group first, they keep posting the exact same questions.

Facebook (and the DIS) isn't google! It's one thing to ask people's experience or perspective but you want me to just give you basic info that google has? Like, did you try looking for it?

And with most of these groups, telling the OP to Google it gets YOU in trouble! 😩

But I'm the runDisney Facebook groups, I seriously see the same questions 3 times a day! Like what time does registration open, and is there a summer series? Like go to runDisney.com and all the answers are literally right there.

There's a thread going now asking for advice on dining - with 100 or so choices - where do you begin?
My one least favorite restaurant on Disney property is, and I hate hate hate to say it, BoG pre-pandemic. Their roast beef sandwich was the only dish I've ever disliked so much that I actually sent it back

yes, it's the lack of self sufficiency that really bothers me. I think I'll have to leave most groups. I prefer the boards since I can easily avoid those kind of threads.

we had a hospital near where we used to live that you would have adored as a vegetarian-originally it was strictly vegetarian but later patients could request some limited meat choices. some of the hospitals in the same system continue to only offer vegetarian dining options in their public/employee cafeterias (and they know how to cook vegetarian!).
