I had trouble just logging in just to get to the DAS page. Now I'm in the wait, wait, wait, ....is heart burn a reason for DAS....just kidding.....I made DH get up and look pretty just in case I got to CM at 7:10. He could have slept an extra hour.

I so wish they had a "ding" when a CM comes to the page.

Now I can’t even see the option. I can purchase regular tickets and have a link that says to update my profile if I am a florida resident for more options.
I just keep going to my cart that has the pass added but the few times I've made it to the checkout page its not functioning either. I have written down the Cart ID just in case I need it later.

Well this says to me that next Thursday will be just as bad, if not worse IT wise. Not surprised there were issues because....come on, it's Disney. Their IT sucks. But this is something else....hope everyone that wanted an AP can get one today.

So now I am trying again. I click on annual passes and it says I am in queue to purchase. That when my time comes up I have 10 mins to enter the site. I have a 23 minute wait time before I can enter.

They have been going through regularly now after the queue - its not the debacle it was at 6A this morning ...

I've had no luck so far I have gotten to another checkout screen a couple of times but its not loading properly. So frustrating. We have had such horrible rains in soFla that they closed the airport until noon today and my son was supposed to fly out this morning at 6am to sing with his school choir at Carnegie Hall this weekend. His poor teacher has probably been up all night trying to get 30 people rescheduled.
Oh no....Hope they'll be able to get there safe and sound!! Carnegie Hall....that's so cool!
Red, pink or brown? How do you like your steak?
Red! Medium rare always!! Anything more than medium I'll need to send it back....

The FLL airport is now completely closed til 5 am tomorrow. The entire tarmac looks like a lake. I feel bad for all those whose plans are affected. We had 20 inches of rain in a day 😳
Years ago, we were on a trip sat in a plane for an hour, couldn't get off. The airport got 4-5 inches in an hour. Everything was shorted out, you had to push doors to open, etc, runway got hit by lightening. Fun times.

I rarely start threads here, or even really ask questions on existing threads, because SO OFTEN that information is readily available with a little bit of research and research brings me joy. I don't want to be That Person. BUT, sometimes I over-research and over-complicated and THEN I end up with a question I feel like only the DIS can answer. :magnify: Like the quickest method of transportation from GF to TTC ... walk through Poly, take a boat or take the monorail?

On the topic of Japan, I am literally saving up CC points to fly to Tokyo in first or biz and not have to pay $$$ to do so! I mean, you could argue I'm paying it now in GETTING the points, but it FEELS free. I really want to go do a few days in Tokyo, a few in Kyoto and then at least three in Tokyo Disney. Probably in 2024 at the earliest.

And I like my steak medium rare hehe.

Also also, I think I am literally like five posts away from graduating from Mouseketeer ... truly thanks to this thread. Maybe I can keep an eye on it and make sure my 500th post is here too. It's 500, right?

Since steak is one of the topics...let's talk about booze (again!)...haha:rolleyes1

What's your choice of poison? Wine? Cocktail? Shots only? Beer? (IPAs lovers are always welcome here!)
What kind of wine do you like?
Do you make cocktails at home? What are some of your favorite or most interesting concoction?
Let's throw Disney into this too...what is your #1 place to have a drink and chill at WDW? You can only choose ONE!

I drink more cocktails when I'm out and 'bout, but more wine at home. I like mostly riseling, savu blanc, champagne/sparkling wine. If I'm having a steak, I will most likely have either Malbec or Bordeaux blend. Not a huge fan of Cabernet, but will try it if someone recommends a bottle to me.
During the pandemic, I have made some interesting drinks at home. My favorite is probably this one - Soju, Lime flavored sparkling water (or club soda if you don't want it sweet), and a Melona Melon popsicle (any flavor you like) IN the drink! YUM!!

I would say Geyser Point at WL is probably my favorite place to have an afternoon bevvie and hang out. Although I have heard Three Bridges Bar and Grill at Coronado is also a great spot! We haven't been, so probably will check it out next time!

:drinking1

Finally have a few minutes to post. I have been playing the role of Muber for DD22 (and a few of her friends) most of yesterday and this morning but now I am home for the rest of the day. Whew!

Let's see......

MC-M Sad to hear the rough start on your vacation. That balcony with the tub looks so relaxing. Enjoy :goodvibes

John7994 Maybe a close-to-home vacation like Charleston/Folly Beach. You can stay on the beach and drive into Charleston for some historical tours, a carriage ride and exquisite food.....OH! and shopping. Love staying at Folly nd walking to the restaurants down the main strip. Is the pier completed yet with the rebuild???

"....and GO!" So glad this isn't part of my daily life. I don't do Facebook, Instagram, etc. Too much drama and the DIS is a big enough time suck that I couldn't imagine also having other social media!! I do get annoyed at those threads that are so subjective esp. on the Dining board.

I love my steak medium rare (insert drooling) but I need my burger medium well to well done. I don't trust that the grinding process brings in extra bacteria to the mix :sad2:

My DH says, if we do TDL/TDS, we might as well do Universal too and whatever theme parks we also want to check out, so we'll make it a Japan theme parks trip. So that alone will be one full week at the minimum! We probably can't go to Tokyo in the same trip because I don't know how I'm gonna take all my Disney merch and Tokyo shopping spree home!!! I would have to ship boxes!!😂

500 to graduate from Mouseketeer?!!?😳 Oh boy I have a long way to go!

The Disney store in Shibuya has a lot of really cool merch not found in the US and not at TDL if that's something you would want to check out. I've also used their site but as they don't ship to the US you will need to use a proxy service.

OMG don't tell me that!! Just buying chopsticks alone at TDL I'll be in so much trouble!! I LOVE their chopsticks!! We have a few pairs and I want MORE! Like a full drawer of Disney chopsticks! hahaha

I wish you could share! All that talk about how we were going to finally get some rain, and we had one shower that lasted maybe 15 minutes. My yard is so crisp right now. 😟

I am not surprised at the AP chaos . . . Glad I don’t have to fight for one right now. Good luck to all who want one!

So, I also shouldn’t tell her about the selection of Disney merchandise at Yodobashi camera in Shinjuku. I’ve never seen so many Disney puzzles in my life. I bought this one that was almost 4’ long there.
