BTK was a very fascinating serial killer and certainly had the longest proliferation given the sheer span of years he was able to continue without being caught. I do find Jeffrey Dahmer an interesting fella.....I mean....he ATE parts of his victims!! I can't imagine what went through the minds of his neighbors once they found out what he had been doing in their apartment building. It was definitely the right decision when the city of Milwaukee tore down that apartment building so many years ago. The victims' families didn't need that reminder of the horrors their loved ones endured.

MMMmmm.......Count Chocula......that was my FAVORITE cereal growing up. I always wanted to pick out all of the chocolate marshmallows and eat those last.

Also used to love Captn Crunch and Honeycombs. My brothers were always into the Sugar Smacks. They were OK....

Totally off topic, but I very stupidly carried some 23kg packs of wooden flooring from my daughter’s garden shed, where they had been delivered, to her house yesterday, and today when I lifted one to check the package code ‘twang’ and guess what? Oh yes, I pulled a muscle in my back. I am very cross with myself and suffering now for my stupidity. Grrrr.

Totally off topic, but I very stupidly carried some 23kg packs of wooden flooring from my daughter’s garden shed, where they had been delivered, to her house yesterday, and today when I lifted one to check the package code ‘twang’ and guess what? Oh yes, I pulled a muscle in my back. I am very cross with myself and suffering now for my stupidity. Grrrr.

I think translated to lbs those were 50 lb packs. That's a lot to carry. Hoping your back feels better soon.

What was everyone’s favorite board game growing up? I used to love the game of Life, sometimes I’d have so many kids they wouldn’t fit in my car.

Life, Clue, Sorry, Risk but my favorite was Monopoly. Once Trivial Pursuit came out, I loved playing that one.

Happy Anniversary @Mackenzie Click-Mickelson! I’m enjoying your pictures. My mom and I visited Isla Mujeres, Cancun and Chichen Itza back in the late 80s, and then I didn’t visit the area again until 2009 and I couldn’t believe how much it had changed. I love visiting the different ruins, and learning about the history of the cultures in the region.

I like it too! Guess we're on cereal now? I ate exclusively Cocoa Puffs in junior high + high school so I can't eat that stuff anymore.

My favorite cereals are Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Honey Bunches of Oats, Reeses Puffs and Apple Jacks.

heaven's gate. i'll say nothing regarding it so i don't violate any board rules and endanger this thread.

btw-serial killers are why there was never news coverage on the tv or radio when my kids were present as they were growing up. i grew up in the area where the zodiac killings occurred (several of the locations were near my home/we frequented) and i remember overhearing the news coverage as a child (esp. the threats he made to kill children on school busses). i doubt my parents knew how terrifying it was to a kid.

Fruity pebbles make an awesome version of rice crispy treats, just swap the cereals.

That sounds good I’ve never used chocolate milk instead of regular for my cereal. Strawberry milk is my favorite, especially the promise land brand. It’s so good it’s kind of like drinking a melted milkshake, it’s a bit richer than normal milk.

I just watched a documentary on that cult. Scary stuff there. The Remnant documentary is good too.
