Additional Palo Brunch Openings?

I am a Gold member and my booking window opens up tonight at midnight. According to Platinum members on our cruise, Palo brunch is sold out. Does Disney open up more availability with each booking window or do they open everything up right at the beginning and if it sells out it’s gone for everyone? If It’s sold out I know I can keep watching for a cancellation or ask upon boarding, I just don’t want to stay awake until midnight tonight for no reason.

What cruise are you on? I've been able to book brunch on 6 of my cruises from Silver to Gold level so not sure I can see it sold out from Platinum level only? Maybe they do hold some for each level. Worst case you can try once onboard to get it as well. I know what you're asking but there are options :)

I’ve always been able to book brunch also, this will be our 8th cruise. I’m on the August 15-19 Wish sailing. It seems like it’s dominated by concierge and platinum cruisers and according to them all the brunches are showing sold out. Some of them weren’t even able to book because of it already being full. I will give it a try tonight and see what happens!

When we did the WBPC in 2020 Palo brunch was sold out by the time we could book as silver (and that was with 7 sea days) but I kept checking regularly and was able to grab one. It's always harder on sailings that are dominated by platinum/gold cruisers

It doesn’t surprise me at all that this sailing is full of concierge and platinum. Plus only one sea day (unless they’ve gone back to doing brunch on Nassau day too.)

Plus I read fast and now see it's on the Wish so all the above makes sense - one at sea day/shorter cruise/new ship, etc.

I am also on the Aug 15 Wish sailing and as platinum was able to get a Palo brunch on the sea day right at midnight. They are also offering it on Nassau day. Both were sold out within 5 minutes of platinum opening. I am also on the following 3 night and have been unable to get Palo brunch, which is not very surprising since it is only offered 1 day on that sailing. However, instead of showing as sold out, it shows available until I select my party and then it gives me an error message. I have tried every day since our window opened and it has always done this. I assume that means it is sold out but is not saying so due to the infamous IT issues lately.

It means the availability it has doesn’t fit your party size. If it’s sees a 4 top it won’t let a party of 2 book it and vise versa.

I had considered this but it gives me the same error message when I try to book any of the specialty dining, including Palo and Enchante dinners on every single night of the cruise. I wouldn't think that the 2 top dinner tables would be full with only platinum and concierge cruisers, but I guess it's possible.

I'm gold and on the August 8th Wish sailing. I was on right at midnight on the day our booking window opened and wasn't even able to get Palo dinner, let alone brunch. I keep checking, hoping something opens up, but no luck so far. I'm bummed because it is my daughter's first cruise as an adult, and she really wanted to try Palo. I'll keep checking and try to get something as soon as we board, but I'm not holding my breath.

I'm b2b on the Wish for the August 1 and August 8 cruise. I am gold and Palo brunch was sold out when I got online at midnight for both cruises.

I’d say it’s statistically more probable as I have traditionally found people in larger groups tend to avoid specialty dining than smaller parties- that it’s rarer to fill 4-8 tops than 2s-

I do think the early Wish sailings are significantly more ‘loaded’ with platinum/concierge than typical 3/4 nighters which historically are more ‘first timers’ and silver (my rough math from observations pre-2020 was 3/4 nighters were 30% new, 40% silver and 30% gold/platinum. 7 nighters were 15-20% new, 30% silver, 50% gold/platinum- where as I think new wish is more 60% gold/platinum, 30% silver, 10% new)
