Adding Quick Service dining plan ?

We arrive at the world on Oct 25 with a room only holiday rate. Tickets were purchased thru disney. I am now considering adding the quick service dining plan. Can i do this? Will I have to pay a pkg rate ?

Yes, you can still add a dining plan.

You can keep your current rate.

You will have to call to add the dining plan. Even though you can keep your current room rate, your reservation will become a ticketless "package", and will be subject to all package rules...including balance due.

Did you try this yet? I am also debating adding the quick service dining plan, but wondering if the re-book will make me lose my holiday room rate or not. I have seen posts that say both ways, lose your room discount and keep your room discount, so looking for recent, actual experiences. I haven't booked a room-only in a long time, but have leftover tickets from a free dining trip to use up that were burning a hole in our MDE "pockets" and inspired this trip!

I don't know why people are saying you'll lose your discount. You're adding a dining plan to a room-only discount. Before you call, know how much the addition of the plan should be to what you already have. If the CM quotes anything else, politely hang up and call back. There should be no change in your room rate.
