Adding people to your existing reservation?

Originally we were a party of 7 (2 adults and 5 kids). Now the grandparents have decided to go with us. I have already booked a few table service meals. How do I add 2 additional people? Can I do it online, do I need to call? Do I need to cancel then rebook?

Basically what is the easiest way possible. Thank so much.

More than likely you will have to rebook. You can try first calling and seeing if they can do anything (most times they can't add anyone) I would also really start looking and trying to change them yourself.

Try calling to see if the CM can add 2 to any of your existing reservations.

For the ones that can't be modified you'll need to start trying to book new reservations. Check online multiple times a day and after you find a new reservation that works, you can cancel the current res. You can see if there are any available for a party of 9 (or 10 because sometimes the Disney system has difficulty booking odd numbered parties). Another option is to try and book a table for 2 at the same or within a few minutes of your current reservations. When you arrive at the restaurant ask if you can be seated together or near each other.

As a last resort if you can't get a res for all 9 of you, you can have the grandparents walk up with you. As much as possible the CMs will try and seat walk ups, but be prepared with a Plan B if 2 in your group are turned away because the restaurant is already at capacity (fire and safety code regulations) or running behind and cannot/won't seat walk ups.
