Adding Park Hopper later during your trip question?

If I buy a 10 day ticket and use 6 days of it before deciding to add the park hopper option will it cost the same as a adding it onto a 4 (remaining) day or a 10 day since that was what was originally purchased?

To put that another way: the park hopper option costs the same whether you add it to a 10-day ticket or a 4-day ticket...no matter when you buy it.
