Adding Package to room only ressie

Can you add tix and DDP to your reservation when you check in? I know that the packages are supposed to be paid 45 days in advance. We are going in July and CR just popped open. If I have to pay rack rate, I'd like to get the dining plan. But I also have a special with my Discover credit card that will give me 5% back for Hotel expenses paid in July. So if I reserve it now, I don't want it to hit my card for the total expense until July. Make any sense?

No you can't add the dining plan at check in. You would have to change to a package and do this at least 3 days before you arrive.
