Adding onto a breakfast reservation?

I didn't know f anyone had ever experinced this, but:

My mom's best friend wants to come join us for a day on our next trip to WDW(in just 12 days!!!) ans we wanted to see if she could also join in on our breakfast reservation at Tusker House. I called WDW-DINE and they unfortunately don't have an opening So my question is what would happen if we all went to TH with a third person anyway? Would they turn my mom's friend away? Would they let her in? It's the only day of our trip we could meet up with her, and she wants to spend as much time as possible with us. Has anyone else ever had this happen to them? I am going to keep trying to add her to the reservation in the meantime. Any input would be great. Thanks so much!

If the restaurant is full to capacity when you arrive, yes, they will turn her away.

If it's not they will try to work her in, but you might have to wait.

If your ADR is before the park opens, I have seen someone else say (at a different meal and a different park) they had trouble getting the extra person into the park.

On that note, I will tell you that my family of 3 has my BFF's family of 4 at CRT at Christmas time. There was no problem to add us and it was busy in there. We hadn't planned on joining our friends at all. If they had of said no, we would have been fine with that but they were very pleasant at accomadating us. It wouldn't hurt to walk up and ask if you can't get an ADR. But keep trying for an ADR. I have been watching the cancellation thread and am truly amazed at all the ADRs people have till they decide what they want to eat!
