Hi everyone,
We're going to Florida in May for 2 weeks. There's two of us, and we'll be staying at POP for the first week with dining plan and park hopper tickets. We booked this as a package and its paid in full. A third person plans on joining us for the 2nd week, how will it work if this person stays with us in the room at POP for the last night of our first week. What will this cost us, and is it even possible? Thanks!

:goodvibes Yes it is possible and you just need to register your guest upon arrival at the front desk. they charge an additional $10 per night per guest.:goodvibes
Have a great trip!

Your guest will not be able to get the dining plan and won't be able to use the Magical Express.

They should not have a problem using Magical Express. I just did this in Jan. When they get to the airport (Magical Express counter) they tell them they are being added to the reservation.

He won't need dining plan or magical express, and we'll purchase additional tickets for him if needed... Thanks!

You should not have been able to do this. Disney's contract with the airport requires advance reservations. Magical Express cannot accept walk-ups, even as a single addition to an existing reserved party.

I believe it's $25pp/night at AKL (perhaps b'c it's a deluxe resort?)

Yeah, the additional adult charge is different at the different resort levels:
Value = $10 per night
Moderate = $15 per night
Deluxe = $25 per night

Just check them in at the front desk for the last night. They only pay a service charge to stay in the room with you.

JustPlainGoofy, you were lucky. That is not the norm. You should not have been allowed on Magical Express without a reservation. Again, you lucked out.

Actually I was told it's $15 per additional adult over the max of 2 in a value resort also, not $10.00. Has anyone else had clarification on this? My conversation with a res agent was just last week and I was told it was the higher amount. Res is at Pop, 14 nights, so it's a bit of a difference if it's only supposed to be $10.00---Kathy

Last Jan my DSIL decided to join us for a couple of days. I told them at the desk at POP and he was able to use ME and I got him park tickets. He just couldn't get the dining plan. And they never even charged us the $10 per night. It worked out great. Just he had to carry his bag and pay for meals.
