Adding On

Well, my hubby dub is just full of surprises lately. Last night he completely floored me by suggesting that we add on some points to our DVC membership. I've looked around a bit, and from what I understand, we'd get about the same price (after fees) buying through a resale as we would buying through DVC. Is this correct, or am I way off base again? We'd be doing a small add on, probably not more than 100 points.

You are probably correct with your assumption. A lot of it will depend on which resort you buy your add-on at. Since the small contracts sell very quickly...they usually go for a much higher price. By the time you add the extra chages for closing costs, in some cases it would be cheaper to buy direct from DVC (especially if you are considering SSR).
