Adding on direct now with August UY

We’re thinking about adding on a 50 point direct contract. We have 2 use years Feb/Aug and just want some clarification about the points. I know if we do a Feb UY we are in 2023, but if we choose to add to our Aug UY will they make an exception and let you bank points past the deadline or will we be out of luck and only have the rest of July to use those 2022 points?

My guide offered us the option of banking our Aug 2022 points but we went with Magical Beginnings instead because we don’t need them. They are happy for you to use your points!

Aug UY would let you sell back 2022 points for $22 each so it could cost $1100 less than Feb UY, or as pp mentioned they are kind to bank them and that would be a bonus of 50pts over Feb UY at the same cost.

My guide says that MB is only for 150 points and greater. Might want to check with your guide if 50 is eligible.

150 required for MB program. But they will let you bank

Oops I didn’t realize there was a minimum to qualify for MB. People were getting it on smaller contracts but only because they were splitting up 150+pts in the same purchase.

We slept on it, agreed we wanted to move forward, couple of emails and a quick phone call and our purchase was complete by 1:00! Points were loaded, quick chat to bank and we booked a trip. So crazy compared to resale

I just added point for VDH today as well. It is crazy how fast direct is compared to resale. Way too easy to spend so much money

They do make it very easy! Too easy. We’re not even done paying in full for June VGF purchase and already I daydreamed of adding 50pts at another resort. It’s dangerous how quickly that daydream can become reality.

Few things. August use year - you have until 7/26 to get MB promo for 2022 points.

The 150 point min is true, but I believe MB and the 5 “free” points is only available to non-sold out resorts, and OKW (~$205)also BLT (~$275). You can buy 145 to meet the 150 blue card and incentives criteria.
