Long time lurker first time poster. I searched through some realated post but could not get an answer to the question I have.

I know about registering your Disney gift card online. My question is after doing so can I add funds to that card in any amount online? Reason I ask is because I have several pre paid online visa cards for 10
Dollars I would like to put towards the vacation.

Example: I purchase 100 Dollar Disney gift card in a store, then register it online. Then add another 100 to it online by entering 10
Prepaid Visa cards?

Thanks in advance

It’s just a card keeper. To add funds you need to add Disney cards and then transfer the amounts to the existing card. You can’t add cash or other forms of payment.

Sam's Club takes multiple forms of payment online but their smallest Disney GCs available are 3 x $50 GCs in a package for $142.98 (if you're a member) and you can only use 4 separate forms of payment and only two of them can be the same (i.e. two Visa GCs and two Sam's GCs).

You could try to order digital Sam's Club GCs at $20 each and use two digital Visa cards to pay for it. And then repeat it so that you have a total of $40 in Sam's Club GCs. But even using this method, you could only add one $10 digital Visa and then a credit/debit card at checkout to cover the balance. IOW, you could only use a maximum of $50 worth of your digital Visa cards to apply toward the $142.98. The rest would have to come out of your pocket thru the credit card.

Or, you could order 5 x $20 physical Sam's GCs, one at a time. Then use those GCs at Walmart to buy your Disney GCs. AFAIK, it is still possible to purchase a Disney GC with a Walmart/Sam's GC at Walmart stores. Someone please correct me if I'm using outdated info. Of course, this strategy assumes that you have a Walmart nearby and you don't encounter any problems making a GC > GC purchase there.

I sometimes cash in MyPoints for a Visa ecard, then use that to purchase a Disney gc online (https://www.disneygiftcard.com/GiftCard). I can then register it and transfer the balance to my existing registered card. I don't know whether or not you can use multiple forms of payment, though--that would be the only glitch.

After searching for the answer, I'm still not sure but I'm guessing you can't use multiple visas to purchase a Disney card from the above site. You can do separate transactions but the smallest card is $25 so for each one, you'd be out of pocket $15.

Editing again to say duh! That still doesn't work if they don't take multiple forms of payment.
