Adding Guests to an Existing Party

I have a quick Dining Reservation question...

We set up our ADRs right on the 180+x deadline allowed for our stay this end of June stay. We've never needed to change, but now last minute plans have some friends who now live in Florida wanting to join us the weekend we arrive.

We have a Dining Reservation for Yak and Yeti the 23rd @ 6pm for 2 guests. Initially I looked around for a new reservation for 4 guests and that wasn't possible - only times offered show either 4pm or 8:45pm (or something close to that).

I'm not allowed to add any additional guests because my initial reservation was only made for 2 guests. Has anyone had luck calling and requesting the 2 guests be changed to 4? Is this something that's feasible?

Last thing I'd want to do is explain to our friends that we could not change our reservation, then show up and our party of 2 sits down at a tablet that can accommodate 4.

You can try calling, but it's unlikely they can add more guests if it's not an option online. Try setting up an ADR finder and something should pop up.

For Yak & Yeti specifically, get the Landry's card and they will seat you right away even w/o a reservation.
