adding dining AFTER checkin?

DH and I are going to disney by ourselves in July using the 7 for 4 promo. We currently do not have dining, nor do we think we want 7 days of dining. But we would like to do the dining plan for maybe 4 days? is this even pssible? Like, can we add it during our stay?

no, not possible. First, dining has to be added at least 72 hours before check-in. And second, when you add a dining plan it is automatically for all nights of your stay. The only way to not have it all 7 nights would be if you are staying at one resort for part of the stay, checking out & going to a different resort. Then you can have dining for one or the other, or both. But either way, you have to add dining before the deadline.

And I think if you add it, it would be for your entire stay. And you would need to call ahead to make ADR's. If you only plan on doing 2-3 TS meals, you would probably save money by not doing DDP.

Can't be done. Not only can you not add the plan at checkin or after (it must be added to a package reservation at least 3 days prior to arrival), you cannot purchase a partial dining plan. The plan must be purchased for the full length of your reservation. To split your trip between dining plan and no dining plan, you must make separate room reservations. To do this would mean giving up the 7 for 4 deal.
