Will DL let you add days to your So Cal City Pass?

When we used a Costco City Pass in Sept 2008 we were offered a deal to add on a day. We took it because it was something like $5/person for an extra day.

Sorry for the delay in responding - I just now saw this post.

Yes, you can upgrade your CityPASS 3-day park hopper. You will receive $186 credit for an adult CityPASS and $165 credit for a child CityPASS towards the gate price of which ever pass you want to upgrade to (4-day, 5-day, etc.). Hope that helps!

Does the amount of credit depend on when you upgrade - i.e. you get less credit if you upgrade on Day 3 versus Day 1.

No, the PH must still be active, not used up before you upgrade. So before the ticket booths close on day 3 of use will work. The value toward the upgrade is always the $186.

This sounds like an awesome deal!! Do I have to do all my Disney days first or can I break them up? Where do I get the upgrade (at any Disney admission/ ticket booth)? Thanks

Hi there -
A couple notes that might be relevant for you:
- You can use your 3-day park hopper pass on ANY three days within the valid 14-day period; they don't have to be consecutive;
- If you purchase your Southern California CityPASS from CityPASS.com, you will receive your Southern California CityPASS card in the mail and can visit the attractions in any order you choose. However, if you purchase the Southern California CityPASS from other websites and print an e-ticket, you may be required to pick up your admission card from a specific attraction;
- You can upgrade your pass through the Guest Services Department. Ask at any ticket booth for directions on where to find the closest location.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks!

We added a day to our 3-day Park Hopper from the SoCal pass. Based on the information provided by CityPASS (the poster) we expect to pay $48 per ticket.

When we went to guest services, it was going to be $63 per ticket. I said we expected the upgrade to only be $48. Another CM heard our discussion and came over to address the issue. She told the first CM that she should use the advanced purchase ticket price as the base for the upgrade so we only paid $15 per ticket ($201 - $186).
