Adding Day to Park Tickets and FP Selection

We have 5 days of FP scheduled and 5 day park tickets. If we have time on the day we arrive we want to go and walk around the park. We will add a day to our tickets before we leave the park, if we decide to visit on our arrival day. Will we be able to keep all of our scheduled FP if for a period of time the number of days with FP exceeds our number of park days left on our tickets?
