Adding a room with free dining

Hi everyone I just have a quick question

Right now we have a family suite at ASMu booked during free dining (discounted at value) at the end of May next year. Is it possible to switch to two rooms at the same or a different value resort and keep the free dining promo for both rooms even though the date to book the deal has passed?

Probably not, but you won't know for sure unless you call and ask.

I did call and ask the same question yesterday and the CM told me she was not sure until we tried it in the computer, the resort I wanted to move too had no availability so we never really put it in the system to try. I would say although she was not sure she sounded to me like she was leaning towards saying no the system would not let it happen. Not sure though, if you find out post it please!

what about adding a room if more family decide to go? Sorry to hijack, I was just logging on to ask a similar question. My sister and her family are thinking about going and I was wondering if I could just add more people on to my reservation since I am already booked????

They will not let you book another room with the promotion. You can add people to your room (if you would still be under occupancy), but not get another room for them.

Again not a 100% sure but I think not. I think when you add a room it will require you to cancel the current reservation and create a new one which will force you to lose your free DDP. I could be wrong so I would call and ask.

It would seem if Disney allowed it it would be a open invite for people to "piggyback" on the limited time special offer of Free DDP that has passed and that would counter making it limited time in the first place. Again call and ask because I am just guessing here.
