Adding a person to our ADRs

I've been thinking about asking my FIL to go with us in August since they opened up the free dining offer again & there are rooms available at our hotel.

I already have all our ADRs booked for a family of 4 plus a high chair. Do you think it would be hard to add one person to these (we're going Aug. 21st through 27th)? What would happen if I didn't change our ADRs and we just showed up with an extra person? Most of our dinners are very early (easier on the kids).

Crystal Palace - dinner
Chef Mickeys - breakfast
1900 Park Faire - dinner
Sci-Fi - dinner
Le Cellier - dinner

I had a 5:30pm ressie for LeCellier for 4. I tried to add my parents to it and they told me that they only had 4 person tables available and they could not do it for anytime that night.

I ended up changing to Coral Reef at 5:40 for 6 people, and doing LeCellier on the night I was planning for Coral Reef.

I would call now and see if you can just add on the extra person. They don't have to be booked yet. It is easier to drop a person or not show up with 1 person than to add a person later.

If you show up with an extra person and they don't have a table to accomodate, they may not be able to seat you.

That's what I did, however it was just for 3. My mother and I were going unexpectedly. then a few days later she said she would love to take my niece/her granddaughter.... so when i started making the PS's I made them all for three...... I figuired the same thing easier to drop a person than add one especially when you are moving away from the standard type tables, 2,4, etc... and luckily l did my brother is letting her miss school so it's ps's for 3
