Adding a day during trip...

Has anyone ever added a day while they were on their trip? If so, if you have a promo on your reservation, can that be extened for the additional day?

When I called about adding tickets to a Kids stay, play and dine promotion reservation the CM I got said that the promotion period would have ended by then so that the current prices when I checked in would be what I paid and she couldn't guarantee that the kids tickets would be free if I added days to them later. I would think it would be the same for adding days as well...but not sure. I just went ahead and added the days to their tickets now....I mean I could add 10 days and they'd be free LOL, the only one paying for tickets in that room would be me.

We extended 1 day during FD in Sept.08'-We almost had to change resorts(due to availability),but did'nt have to;BUT,we were not extended FD for that day.Luckily,we ALWAYS get 1 extra day on our tickets-it's like $12,so we could still go to the parks the next day!

No we couldnt. We had stayed at Nick last year and my DH wasnt crazy about it and called Disney to see if we could get in a day earlier with the free dining, they wouldnt be able to add the free dining for us, they said they needed at least 3 days notice on this so we just stayed put.

We tried to extend another day during FD once, but the promo had expired, so we had to book the extra night at the AAA rate instead.
