Say you've been on a waitlist for a 30 point add-on for a few weeks. You decide maybe you'd like to make that 60 points instead (or two 30 pt contracts). If you call to add more points to your "wish list" does that put you at the bottom of the waitlist again? Has anyone had any luck just asking if more are available at the time your original request comes through? Does asking for two smaller contracts increase your chances of getting points sooner than one larger contract? Does anything you do make any difference at all? :rotfl2:

This wait is killing us, and we don't want to go through it again lol! Our original plan was to buy 30 pts cash now and 30 pts cash in a year. But sheesh, at this rate, it could be a year before we get the first 30, so we're thinking, why not get all 60, put half down, finance half for a few months and pay it off in a year, per the original plan? What are you expert's thoughts on this?

I would figure out how many points you really need and then just stick with that number as an add on. People are attracted, sometimes to their regret by the scarcity phenomenom. Once something seems precious or scarce, it is our nature to hoard it or covet it more.

If you need 60, get on the waitlist for 60. If you need 30, stand pat and try to avoid add on itis.

For full disclosure we are on the waitlist too and it is killing us also so we know exactly how you feel. I wen through the exact same emotional roller coaster.

Our guide called this morning (didn't expect them to be working on Memorial Day, so it was a double surprise!) and said we have reached the top of the waitlist! :cheer2:  :Pinkbounc :goodvibes :woohoo: :yay: :bounce:

Not the best timing for the points (we just missed getting '05 pts), but I'm  anyway!!!
