Add days to tix?

Hi!
We bought 4 day MYW tix for our upcoming trip. We decided to stay an extra day. Can I call and add the day before we get there or do I have to wait until I get there and do it at GR? Will it stay the same tix # or would they give me new tix?

We had 5 day tickets and wanted to add one more - we just did it at the gate at HS before we went in for the day (we added our day before we used our last - I think that is when you needt o do it).

I called just this week to add a day to ours for our April trip. It was easy, but I think we got new ticket numbers, because now MDE shows three eight-day (correct) but still one seven-day assigned to my daughter. The ticket numbers aren't indicated in the app, though.

Where did you buy your tickets? Most tickets can be upgraded, but if you got a discount, you want to go through the gate first before you upgrade. If you upgrade now, you'll have to pay up to the full list price, but if you enter the park first, you'll only have to pay the difference.

How did you do this? Their policy is that you have to wait until you get there and upgrade in person. I called Disney 3 times and talked to 3 different CMs who told me the same thing. I also called the ticketing center directly and they told me they cannot do upgrades over the phone, they all have to be done in person.

I am going in May and want to upgrade from a 2 day parkhopper to a 3 day parkhopper. Now I have to wait until we get there in May, so I can't schedule my FP+ for that 3rd day ahead of time.

I just called and changed our 6 day tickets to 7 day tickets. It was easy and they just charged the extra $40 for the 4 of us onto our credit card. We have a room only reservation with tickets, not a package.

I have done it both ways . Last year I added an extra day to my ticket while at the resort . I just went down to the check in desk 2 days before we were scheduled to leave and added it to my ticket - they charged it to my room . Three weeks ago I added an extra day to my ticket over the phone . We check in on 3/1 and they did it with no problem.

I don't have a package. I have a room only reservation and I also have tickets I purchased from Disney. I have called 3 times and each time they say I have to do it at the park. They said it is against policy to do it over the phone.

I just want to change our 2 day tickets to 3 day tickets.

Sounds like the difference is you already have the tickets that you didn't get with your room reservation. That would probably be why you can't upgrade and others can.

I got my tix directly from Disney so bridging won't be an issue. I'm going to try calling later and if they can't do it, I'll call ticketing on Monday and see if there's any luck there.
