Add a Code AFTER I've Paid in Full?

Does anyone know if you can apply a new rate or code AFTER you have paid off the balance of your vacation? I've looked at Mousesavers and it looks like in the past some good deals have come out after Disney would normally ask you to pay off the balance of your vacation. Has anyone tried to add a code? Will Disney give you a credit if a better deal comes along?

If it is before the 45 day actual final payment mark, you can do so with no penalty. If it is under 45 days from your trip and the code/PIN brings down the price, there is a $50 penalty.....

I did and got a REFUND on a room only with the new spring code!!!!

You can, but they charge you a $50 penalty if the total is less and it is past the 45 day mark.

I think yes, you can apply a code and get some refund.
