Out of the ones you posted, I actually like the falling leaves one the best. I mean, I think it's fun to play up that our weddings are at Disney, but it's not totally necessary. If you two like it, I think that's what matters most! Besides, for the time of year of your wedding, I think it's appropriate in that respect.

Exactly! I mean as much as i'd love to do the donald and daisy or mickey and minnie i dont think its necessary. It is definatly in the running for the at home party, but as far as the disney part there was an invite that DF LOVED, it had palm trees on it. I didn't want to get the sample because i thought it might be alittle wierd because although we're in florida we aren't in hawaii getting married, but i'm starting to think it might be a good idea.

Ok first of all YAY for a possible lunch/reception site!! That place looks really nice!!!

Thanks Mandy! i think it looks really nice too, of course when i told DF about it he was negative nancy because he's afraid that he won't have the meal he wants BUT again from what i read it seems like they're willing to work with you.

okay so for starters i think the potential for that lunch location sounds good ! i also got the same feeling on no F&B mins. but who knows? i think sometimes i totally just read what i want to read lol.

...also in regards to the illuminations (or wishes) cruise..the thing about it is..even though its with the entire family you may want to remind adam that this is something nice for you and him as well, its a great experience that you may otherwise not get to do, and you will be able to be in your gown (which come on is awesome) it will be more personal, as opposed to being in the parks..

...and lastly...i like the last invite...the all blue invites

I agree about the illuminations cruise. In one respect i agree with DF and in another i agree with my bridezilla side. But we'll see, i think thats something we'll have to figure out later on... once we know how much the wedding ceremony itself and reception meal is going to cost.

I like the all blue invites too... but it isn't enough bada bing for me.

Alright ladies lets talk Shoes and Earrings!!!!

So thanks to Anj, i found a cool new website that has wholesale priced wedding items!!

I was originally looking for a head piece and jewelry but i stumbled upon shoes... however could that have happened?!

I knew that i wanted hot pink (fuschia) shoes to wear. I was worried about dyeing shoes (think Mandy's smurf toes concern) and i didn't find anything pink on the website for shoes... bummer. But then i had a thought! I could do what Scarlett did and have my shoes covered in little rhinestones... HOT PINK RHINESTONES!!! How hott would that look?!

So what do you think? There are other shoes that i haven't checked out yet but i like these because they have a thick heel which is alot easier for me to walk it, and when shoes have a little height to them in the front like these do they tend ot be alot more comfy. I also called DS (MOH) and asked her about it (I LOVE that she wors at jo-ann fabrics!!) she told me that it would take a while and it would be mind numbing but hey if we ordered them soon we could work on it alittle at a time and it would look awesome! Apparently they even have special tweezers for bedazzeling! Who knew?

Ok now on to Earrings!!!

I'm having a hard time with the whole neckalce thing... i can't seem to find anything that wows me and alot of "bridal" jewelry remind me of prom stuff. YUCK! So i think i might only do earrings... What do you think of these?

I kind of really like them... they keep growing on me the more i look at them. They're vintage looking and it seems like it would match my gown.

I'm going to wait to order anything until i can consult with my DS and you lovely ladies. But i was super excited to find this site! So thanks again Anj!

Oh and one more tiny update. I stopped looking at that savings account that i opened specifically for the wedding because no matter how many times i'd look at it - it didn't matter (kind of a watched pot doesn't boil) so i checked it today after a couple months and i have almost a thousand dollars saved saved! Doesn't sound like much yet but it is still a good start!

I normally do great in high heels... they make me feel sexay! So i'm used to wearing them its more of the comfort that i'm looking for in wedding shoes. I mean i dont want to be limping down the boardwalk! I just know that those type of heels are better for me than the stilletos.

Alright i found another item to buy... bad bad girl!

What do you think of this?

I like it becase its not too big. But will this work with my veil and gown? I never know what will look good without going overboard. There are so many pretty things that i'd like to use but a fascinator, couple hair pins, tiara, and veil would be alittle much... So i dont know if this and the veil would look good or if i should just stick with the veil or do the veil and this pretty little thing...

I love starfish... i wear a starfish necklace all the time and i think that this is really pretty and goes well with the theme of the boardwalk.

Am i getting crazy? should i just stick with the veil? Ugh i dont know. this website is the devil!

YAY! I can't imgine it yet but when it comes to wedding stuff i dont really have much of an imagination... everyone of my friends that have gotten married were VERY traditional. So other than in magazines and what i see you girls doing i only know the tiara and veil... nothing fun and unique! DF always laughs at me because i like to be different. He still doesn't understand why i want a pink sapphie and diamond wedding band. He told me that buying my e-ring was a project and a half because his mother kept picking out traditional solitaires with round cut stones. He had to keep telling her NO! But i digress...

Good i'm not the only crazy person that actually thinks those shoes will be comfy!
I'm also glad i'm not the only one who won't be wearing a necklace. I love those earrings too and for the price how can you go wrong!

And you HAD to be different and not like the fascinator! Its ok... i'm worried about how it'll look. I've already been vetoed on using only gerber daisies because my dress is too formal... is it to formal/modern for the fascinator? As far as the veil goes i know i want it coming out from the middle/back of my head... it won't be sitting right up top so thats why i'm thinking alittle something on the side like the starfish or the fascinator would look ok. the other thing is that my veil is a cathedral length veil so after the ceremony its coming off no matter where we go to eat after. But we'll see... worse case senario i don't like what i bought and i put it on ebay and get my money back.

You were my inspiration for covering the shoes in crystals! We're going to attempt it ourselves... pray for us! Its going to be alot of going cross eyes and temper tantrums but we're planning on only doing alittle at a time.
I'm glad i have another vote for the fascinator. I think i'm going to buy it and see how it goes.

Sorry hun i was in the middle of posting and didn't see that you commented too!
I know... i'm going back and forth on what i want in my hair. Its that whole indecisive bride thing again.
Part of me really wants the fascinator... i've loved how it looked on all the brides i've seen with it AND its very carrie bradshaw
But then again i'm not sure if it'll work with my dress and if i should just stick to something more traditional like the hair combs, or the starfish.
Its all too confusing!

Well other than the hair situation... how did you like the shoe idea?
