This seems to be a question asked on here alot. So I thought some of us could post our times and we could see the times variation through the different slow/busy seasons.

Yesterdays time to Epcot from the Fort was 25 minutes (8:05am to 8:30am)(5 minute wait for a bus) from our site to the drop off point. We did have a golf cart to get to the bus stop. I'd add 10 or 15 minutes to this for an internal bus ride.

Time back from Epcot to Fort bus stop was 45 minutes (3:00pm to 3:45pm) (10 minute wait for bus) and there is a stop at the WL.

Some of the problem with this is the time at which you depart for the WDW Transportation. For example, if you depart your site (hotel) for the Pickup point (Outpost/Settlement in the case of the Fort) and you arrive there just after the bus/boat left, your wait will (obviously) be longer then the person who made the last bus/boat. So the 5 minutes longer you took could make your overall trip longer by say 15 minutes versus the person that got there 3 minutes before you and made the bus/boat. (Hope that makes sense).

Obviously crowds are a factor too. Personally, I think you should always plan on at least an hour of commute time to the parks regardless where you are coming from or going to. That way, if you arrive before that hour, it's bonus time.

All that being said, in Late November 2014 (and early December) I think most of the time when leaving the fort to the parks, We typically were about 30 minutes (or so) but we tended to be either "Early Birds" or drove ourselves to the parks.

Today: time to AK from the Fort was 30 minutes (8:10am to 8:40am)(5 minute wait for a bus) from our site to the drop off point. We did have a golf cart to get to the bus stop. I'd add 10 or 15 minutes to this for an internal bus ride.

Time back from AK to Fort bus stop was 30 minutes (1:20pm to 1:50pm) (10 minute wait for bus) and it is a direct bus.

Jan 6: time to DHS from the Fort was 30 minutes (8:05am to 8:35am)(5 minute wait for a bus) from our site to the drop off point. We did have a golf cart to get to the bus stop. I'd add 10 or 15 minutes to this for an internal bus ride.

Time back from DHS to Fort bus stop was 30 minutes (2:20pm to 2:50pm) (10 minute wait for bus) and it is a direct bus.

Back to DHS from the Fort was 45 minutes (5:05pm to 5:50pm) from our site to the drop off point. We did have a golf cart to get to the bus stop. I'd add 10 or 15 minutes to this for an internal bus ride.

Jan 7: time to MK from the Fort was 30 minutes (8:20am to 8:50am) from our site to the drop off point. We did have a golf cart to get to the marina. I'd add 10 or 15 minutes to this for an internal bus ride. We did not get to see the opening show.

Time back from MK to Fort marina was 30 minutes (2:15pm to 2:45pm).

Time back from MK to Fort marina was 60 minutes (8:15pm to 9:15pm) (long wait for a boat).
