Activities room at Riviera Resort?

When we visited last September we noticed an activities room on the main/bottom floor of the Riviera Resort. It was empty and the CM beckoned us in, but it was during the height of COVID and we were trying to avoid inside spaces as much as possible. We're planning a future trip and my daughter was asking about the sort of stuff they did there. I looked under the "amenities" section of the website but not finding much information about this. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? Is it open to the public/DVC/Riviera guests? What sort of activities do they do there?

The Eventi Room.
I'm sure they change activities but this was a blurb about it from a year ago:

Eventi Room (10:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., Monday - Saturday)
Guests can now visit the Eventi room throughout the day where they can engage with Cast Members and Cultural Representatives in a variety of different games and crafts that are offered all day long, including animation cel painting, board games, movies, coloring pages, and more!

In effort to give our Guests more flexibility, the Skyliner Rally Scavenger Hunt will be available throughout the day. Guests can pick up a copy in Eventi and race across our neighboring Skyliner Resorts and return with the fastest time. The family that is the fastest will receive a prize at the end of the day!

Not sure how much of that is still going on.
When we were there in Feb 2021 they had like etchings for glassware and a trivia game (you could get answers by roaming the property) - return it and get little paper bookmarks.

I wish they splurged and built a proper community at this DVC only resort.

In October we painted pottery and did glass tumbler appliques.

We were there this past weekend checking it out. We had arrived early for our dinner at Topolino’s and went there to kill some time. There were 2 very nice girls working the community hall and they had finding Nemo on TV. They gave my kids a free Raya coloring packet and some crayons and had some pottery painting and I think other activities. It was nice there were spaced out tables and some love seats.

Any updates on Riviera crafts? We have a few hours to kill in the hottest part of the day and this might be a reasonable option for my craft-loving kid. Is the Eventi room something where you can pop in and craft at any time?

Yes, you can do some crafts at any time but others are only offered during set times. It really depends on what you're interested in doing.
