Activities Before Dinner

The early show is before the late dinner (I think it starts at 6:00 or 6:30). On the 7 day, there is a family cabaret show in one of the clubs. On both ships there are family game shows like Mickey Mania and Walk the Plank held in Studio Sea usually. You can also enjoy the pools with much fewer people than are there during the afternoon, take a walk around Deck 4, play shuffle board, enjoy the adult lounges, etc. The kids program is usually in a movie around this time too.

Our family has always had late seating. We usually enjoyed the pools until about 5:30, got dressed for dinner, went to the main show, visited the cabaret show or the game show, and went to dinner. A couple of times our son was watching the movie, so he missed the show, but there was always plenty to do.

We had early dinner, but one evening the kids got to the club quite early and we were ready well before dinner started. A pre-dinner drink in the Promenade Lounge fit the bill nicely.

We do what tkd lisa does. Not rushed. Lots of fun! Very enjoyable!! Can't wait to do it again!!!

The family shows by the various entertainers are at 7:45 and end before late dinner....or go to the 6:30 theater show in shorts and return to cabin to dress for dinner...stroll around on deck, just relax. Somehow, I never lacked for things to do .

i also forgot about the internet cafe..That kept us busy when we just wanted some quiet time

i think that finding a book and just reading as the ship sails would be quite relaxing. its sooo nice in the evening..everything is calm. i guess an early movie would be nice as well

Here's some of the things we did on various nights before our late dinner:

1. Went to 6:30 show in shorts or shore excursion wear and then went back to room and enjoyed a casual "get ready for dinner" time.

2. Got dressed, went to the 6:30 show, then went to a lounge for drink and walked around Deck 4.

3. After show, went to second level of atrium and watched all the families getting their pictures taken and meeting the characters.

4. After show, went to Shutters and browsed for our pictures, then went to dinner.

5. After show, went to family shows at 7:45. They were a lot of fun.

We just really enjoy walking around the ship as much as possible. And it was nice to walk around on formal and semi-formal nights because everyone looks so pretty!:teeth:

i know we have gotten a snack at plutos something...we bratwurst somewhere and it was great. we did some walking, had some pics taken

Does that mean if you have early seating you miss these games?
