Activating AP Renewal Vouchers purchased in 2000 before the AP renewal policy changed

We haven’t been to WDW since January 2000. Our APs expired on 5/8/00 and we purchased the green renewal vouchers on 5/30/00. This was just before they announced a policy change that your AP renewal would begin on the date that your old AP ended. My understanding is that we are grandfathered in under the old rules and that our renewal year will begin the day we activate the renewal vouchers at a theme park. Will we have any trouble using these old AP renewal vouchers when we arrive at WDW this Sunday?

I don't think you will have a problem. Have you called to check?

Don't call, don't ask, don't tell.

The worst that can happen is that, at the moment of attempted redemption they reject your voucher.

More likely they won't look closely and just assume that a voucher is a voucher, issuing you your AP that starts at the moment of redemption which is what you wanted.
