Activating Annual Pass for Pre Rope Drop Breakfast

We are planning on getting DVC annual passes. We have reservations at Tusker House at 8:10 on a day the Animal Kingdom opens at 9:00 for our first park day. We are staying AKL so if necessary we could probably swing by the night before to activate our passes but would rather not.

Will we have a problem activating our passes before rope drop?

Guest Relations at DAK will be open by 7:30AM that day.
It won't take long to buy and/or activate APs.
