ACK! These awful spring storms in Texas!

The storms headed toward my neck of the woods look pretty awful. My husband made me move my 7 yr old car out of the garage so he could put his 2yr old Tahoe in the garage.


Wow! the tornado sirens started up.... I'm outta here!

We're fortunate, for the time being the bad storms are staying North of us. I hope everyone in the DFW Metroplex stays safe.

I don't want any tornadoes but it would be nice to get one of the big storms up here to the north of Dallas. So far they've been staying west and north of us.

We cancelled our weekend camping trip to San Angelo because of the weather forecast, and I'm glad we did. I hear from my friend that the sirens were going off this evening and that they were getting pretty bad hail.

Well, that whole thing wasn't nearly as exciting as it could have been! We had some pretty good rain, but nothing else. There was rotation about 15 miles east of us, and then another about 6 miles north of us. Nothing on the ground. But that's why the sirens, I assume. Trying to give everyone ample warning. It wasn't even raining when the sirens started!

Hope the rest of my North Texas neighbors faired as well. Check in!
