Ack! My 14 y.o. son started shaving!

Where has that little baby gone?

It seems like just yesterday I was holding him in my arms and looking into those dark eyes, hair soft as silk, and a laugh that would make my heart skip a beat!

He didn't want a regular razor like his dad has, he wanted one of those Norelcos that have three circle thingys. So I took him to Walmart (they have the best selection in this area) and bought him his first one, that and a bottle of after shave!

He's becoming such a nice young man!

I know how you feel. My niece just turned 13 a few days ago. She's already shaving though. I was only 11 when she was born but I took care of her like she was mine. Changed diapers, made bottles, rocked her to sleep. Now she's almost as tall as me. And she loves to make me feel old.

They do grow up fast, Blondie. Mine's only 16 and he's been shaving since 14.

Ahhh, ladies, I remember when my little guy was 14 and 16, doing the shaving bit. Now he alternates from beard to no beard to goat to no goat. And now he is out putting out fires and saving people. Time is indeed fleeting.

Apparently the Victoria's Secret cologne for men is the hot one at my local high school right now, LOL! The boy next door was just in love with wearing cologne to school (and lots of it, LOL!)...I couldn't figure this out, since guys didn't wear cologne when I was in high school. It's such a riot
