Cast and crew:
Ace(me): 28. United States Air Force. Disney lover as long as I can remember.
DW: Nancy,28. Became Disney lover when we got engaged at Disneyland.
DS: Nick, 5. Had first Disney experience at 3 months old and hasn't looked back.
My mom: JoAnn. I owe my love of Disney to her since she always took us to Disneyland.
My sis: Vicki, 25. Looking for relaxation above all
My brother: Rob, 21. Can finally have a drink at PI
Brother's G/F: Ali. Is she ready for a week with us all?
Slept in and decided on BB. Got everything together and headed over. Again, lots of people but managed to find a set of chairs/lounges on the deck by the kids area. Spent the day alternating between slides and the wave pool. DS got his fill of both kids areas. Of course we did the family tube ride which he hooped and hollered on all the way down. Stopped for a little while to get some snacks and shaved ice. We had a PS that evening at Boma so we headed back for some rest and to get ready.
Another family friend who lives in Florida was in town and was joining us. He met us at the hotel and we piled in his car for the journey over to AKL. Wow, what a place. This was our first time seeing it and I was impressed. Went out to see some animals. Spotted some zebra, giraffe, etc. Took in the sights of the lobby area and headed down to Boma. First off the smells were amazing. We were seated and got the run-down from our server, and off we went. This is by far and away the best WDW meal I have enjoyed. I posted a more thorough report on the restaurant board for those interested, but let me just say I could have eaten here each night. Tried lots of new things, and loved it all, especially some of those desserts. Wow. We waddled out after we reached our bursting point, and did some shopping in the shop off the lobby. Back to the hotel and said bye to our friend. Thought about swimming but was afraid I would sink to the bottom with all the food in my belly. Slept like a baby.
