Anyone else out there look forward to checking the Orlando 15 day AccuWeather forecast as another milestone in your countdown? I check at least once a day from now until we leave. It's a way to relieve anticipation!

I keep it as one of my City's on my home page.

Then at 10days I have it switch to give me an Alert on my cell .I keep that for a few days after the trip as a reminder of what we just left behind.

Oh and when the alerts come in Everyday at 7:00am for home town and the trips the ringtone is the opening room track for HM that ends with the thunder and a screem.

Absolutely! Coming from New Jersey, I needed to know exactly what kind of weather to expect and how much warmer it was would be down there. I've had Accuweather Orlando bookmarked for years.

We just moved from NJ, so no more "Jersey Weeks" for me. I finally retired from teaching after 38 years in the primary grades and we will now be driving up from southwest Florida in Dec., Jan., and March. Cannot wait!

I wonder if the weather will be all that different anymore. I loved checking it out from NJ, it was always so much much better there!

Yep! Just checked it yesterday for our trip in 2 weeks!

I've found that the 15 day forecast just causes anxiety, especially when I used to go in early December. The forecast would flip back and forth day to day that far out. One day it would say high of 75, then the next day it would say 65 for the same day. One day it would say sun, then it would say rain. It's too far out for any accuracy.

hee hee....

....and, I thought I was alone in that "silliness"!!! ;) Glad to know it is an addiction many of us share!!!

I hope you have a WONDERFUL trip!!!

I've always checked Orlando weather on my.yahoo, but that just gives me a 10-day forecast :sad2: .
:thanks: for those extra 5-days of forecasts; more nourishment for my "Disn-ease". :teeth:

F & W: Oct. 17-27

This month has been flying by! Your post reminded me that we check into the BWV in 13 days! :Pinkbounc

LOL, yep, we are Minnesotans.....used to checking weather anyway, so might as well check for both places! I check Houston all the time too, since that is where DS lives.

I just use weather.com so for me it's a ten day forecast. And *yippee* our F & W weekend is all there, and it's summertime warm!

I'm another weather geek! I check it almost everyday as we are getting ready to leave. It's so nice to look at the 15-day mark and see all the thunder showers gradually change each day to sunny skies by the time our check-in date finally rolls around. :sunny:

The interesting part of the 15 day forecast is that it's almost always changing on a DAILY basis!!

Definitely! When I get within 15 days, every morning I run to the computer and check accuweather. Then I dream about what I'm going to be doing on that/those days and how the weather will impact it.

Count me in! I was just checking for next week and I was glad to see the thundershowers changing into no rain! I also noticed that I should probably bring a tank top or 2 for our trip. Today it was pretty warm here (felt like 80) and all I could think about was being in the hot sun at Disney.

I HATE COLD WEATHER!!!!!

I love that website...timeanddate.com its a great way to obsess over how much time it is until that next vacation !

Heck, I get excited over the date on the margarine container. If it is near our vacation date, I get excited. But I really get excited when the date on the bread and milk container are near our vacation date.

I guess it just doesn't take much to make me happy and excited for my next WDW trip.

Also helps me get a move on to get packing.
