If you're planning a trip, have a good budget, and want the most for your money, I highly recommend staying at the Beach Club or the Yacht Club.

Why? Well, why not? The Y&BC resorts have:
A character breakfast at the Cape May Cafe
A three-acre, sand bottomed, slide-endowed pool
A AAA 4-diamond steakhouse in the Yachtsman
A central location- you can walk to Epcot, MGM, and the Boardwalk in 15 minutes or less
Spacious guest rooms with nice (albeit a bit small) balconies
A neat little marketplace off the BC lobby
An arcade (you'll have to pay for a game card)
And the crown jewel- a soda shop that serves lunch, dinner, and desserts that include the Kitchen Sink, a 21-scoop doozy.
Don't forget the beauty parlor and gym!

So pop the idea to your group-- you'll be glad you did.
The cast members will make you feel appreciated. :cloud9:

I totally agree with you!!! DH and I stayed at BC 9/30-10/8, it was our third time, and so worth it...especially during Food and wine festival at epcot !!!!:goodvibes Have been back 2 weeks, and already wanting to plan the next trip.

I know that will be the busiest time of the year. There was no other time. But my kids are grown so we won't be doing the little kids stuff. Tell me, did you rent any of the watercraft? I think I would like the pontoon boat.

No. We couldn't rent small craft b/cause the lagoon is a ferry waterway. What's more, it's home to 65 or so gators who call it swamp sweet swamp. However, if you're looking for fun and a bit of exercise, rent a Surrey Bike near the BW Bakery or take a senic stroll.

Cautionary Note: Men are attracted to the ESPN Club like moths to a light, so when you walk by, grab his ear or he'll be inside and halfway through a beer before you can say "New York Yankees". :thumbsup2

Stayed there once a few years back when I was able to get a fantastic room
rate of $198/night. Can you believe it? It was HEAVEN. Love the close
proximity to Epcot, Boardwalk and MGM. PERFECT. :thumbsup2

The pontoon boat is loads of fun ... we've done it a few times. Highly recommend it! They also have fishing excursions from the Marina if you are interested.

Ooooo I can't wait to get there. Even if it is the busiest time of the year. I hope to do the pontoon boat during those busy afternoons when everyone else is at the parks.

We are headed down for ten days at the beginning of February. I have always wanted to stay here and this time it just worked out. My DD can hardly wait for SAB. I don't think she cares how warm or cold the air temp is. At least the water is heated. :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

We are staying at BCV in June. I think my boys will love the pool.
