Absolute best time to go???

We've gone in June, July and Aug. It's very hot and very crowded. We went years ago in Dec./Jan. but I can't go by the crowds then because WDW it's self was much smaller so my question is how crowded does it get President's Day week? We are planning on going in Feb. Also is it crowded the whole week or just the long weekend? Oh, and how is the weather towards the end of Feb? Thanks for any info. :D

Have gone 6 trips in June/July and loved them all. I'm on vacation, and nothing will get us down. Would never think of keeping the kids out of school. Perhaps when they are out, our reasoning will change. Long park hours, warm temps, shorts and t-shirts. That's why a vacation to WDW satisfies all desires.

What about the first week of March? We usually go early May, but are thinking about early March of 2004. Any experiences with crowds during this time?

Early May is great, but can get hot. October is the best.

After much experimentation, we have settled on a yearly excursion always heading down on the Saturday after US Thanksgiving. The crowds are OK - sometimes gets busy, but nothing unexpected. Weather is great - not too hot, not too cold. The Holiday decorations are up at that point too.

The least crwded we have ever found it (with the exception of week following Sept 11) was in January - however, this time doesn't work for everyone in our group. The worst for us was August - unbelievably crowded and unbearably humid and hot. Ugh.

After a lot of soul-seraching we did go the week following 9/11. At one point it was almost eerie it was so empty, and then on the next day which was a Saturday, they had to close the park as they had reached capacity.

I guess you never know - but still just after US Thanksgiving from now on.

We went the second week in March ONCE...crowds were awlful and mostly kids on spring break...we won't do that again. I'm not sure about the first week........but we avoid March now. I found August more doable.
